- YO guys! I made a WoW TBC Hunter duel montage video
and i had alot of fun making it!

2.4.3 on Smolderforge server.
Im completely aware of that there contains some bugs and not everything is like its supposed to be. My gameplay is not always clean either because im still abit used to classic mechanics. Its even abit laggy sometimes but hey , its a private server.
Im also missing alot of good addons that im used to play with , like a proper Hunter autoshoot timer , Loosecontrol and cc tracking etc. But i couldnt find it for TBC.
I´m currently staying in the "TBC waiting room" because i lost intrest and time for Classic right now. So i decided to just chill and explore the PvP on TBC private servers in the meanwhile before TBC classic releases.
( I cant wait !! )
Probably going Dwarf female in TBC too (stoneform is awesome for 1v1s and arenas)

i just love how when a duel starts every ones gone! its so relaxing. it sounds odd but it kind of is to me, its just you and him/her, as any duel should be.

You never see this SV spec on Endless and I don't really know why, hopefully it is in TBC Classic, especially 5v5 with a few points in Entrapment.

what is the over all best race for hunter pvp in tbc ? and what pet to use? and where to tame it=? and are hunter over all better or worse for 1vs1 in tbc in end s4 patch compared to shadow priest or ele shaman?
I'd forgotten how much of a joke ret pals were in TBC. Then I watched the sad attempts of the enh to reach you and the ret looked good in comparison :D Anyway, great video and congrats on perfectly playing perhaps the most complex and hard to master class in TBC. I used to play hunter back in the day and it was so much fun, though I would always get stomped by rogues, with rare wins here and there.
I really enjoy these. U really show the potential of hunters, even tho people think they are low-tier due to complexity!

@@Hastenx Oh btw, how do u beat mages in classic? I find them to be almost impossible due to nova and then spam arcane explosion in ur face!
@@missvexo827 its all about get out of meelerange and use cds wisely. Silencing shot , scatter , traps and nades has to be perfect used otherwise the mage will eat you alive
@@missvexo827 oh sorry didnt see ”classic” but yeah , sort of the same deal here , use your trinket and spiderbelt wisely to get range. Once the mage it out on blocks and u get range the mage is fucked.
People don't think theyre low tier. They should lose to feral druids and anything resto. Other than that they can win most duels sl/sl lock though should destroy hunters.

The editing was legit. Welcome to dwarf enjoy your stay. I was thinking about which trinket I can vendor if i played tbc. Don't the reflectors have a chance to fail against targets above 60 right? I'd still keep anything that has a chance to work personally.

Hey! Yeah im going hunter all the way! Pick whatever suits you the best. Rogues are superior in pvp in tbc. Very fun to play 2. But hunters for me is always the choice!

You have to use Viper Sting vs Mana class... Like versus Mage or Palaret. They are OOM really fast.
yo there's a new server called henhouse its basically smolderforge but in s2 right now. how do you gem as a sv hunter? also when do you use steady shot vs multi shot
Yo! Thanks for letting me know. I’ll def check it out! I usually go agility / stam for pvp :) Steady shot is weaved in when you got the situation to stand still and pump it out. :)

Nice video dude, which pet did you recommend for pvp?
Scorpid pet for arenas so you can stack up poison , makes it harder for the enemy to dispell viper sting. Other than that, probably wind serpent or ravager for damage.
Haesten did you also try on playing other tbc private servers or is smolderforge the best in your opinion?
Smolderforge is an instant 70 and free gear server which is perfect for just trying out different classes and builds and general practice on pvp but contains alot of bugs , lags and stiffnes imo.
Endless wow is a far more better blizz-like server that feels more like “the real deal” both with lvling up , gearing with phasing , pve content and pvp.
re watching again as tbc tbc hype is coming. imagine if readiness was where wyrven sting was in tbc. I think that would be amazing. Guess we'll have to wait till wrath huehue.

i played a frost mage in classic and pwned hunters. now in tbc i try to nova them and they immune, im dead 2 seconds later. how i kill?????

Yes they can place traps in combat in tbc! The negative part is that they have a 2 sec detonation time though.

Thanks! Nah in classic , tbc pets dont have cc abilites like that. Its in WOTLK that part will be presented to hunterpets. Spider have web (root) then.

whats are the pros and cons of running survival versus mm
The differences are quite simple and here it is :
Deep survival gives you wyvern and counterattack which is amazing for extra survival and cc, especially against meele classes,. Cons are that if your playing alliance , the undeads will break wyvern with WOF racial. And most of them do play undead, second is that you lack some burst when needed.
Deep marksman gives you silencing shot and 15% more crit to multishot , more burst. Silencing shot is also amazing with 30 sec cd. Being able to chain cc a caster or healer or just be able to interrupt something gamebreaking.
Cons for me is that you will be weaker against meele classes.
Overall both specs are good in different pvp situations and setups. Its a give and take. :)
@@Hastenx You mean 30sec cd xD. But still I think MM is better cuz caster will make you more problems than melee, cuz you can cc melee easier and you need burst for the casters. You can't trap them easily as melee. Still, I liked SV idea in WOTLK with Lock and Load and Explosive shot. Too bad they didn't care and make some tweaks to its gameplay, for example make Black arrow same as Vampiric touch, instant dmg when dispel and such...

Is Viper Sting effective against a feral druid? You didn't use it. I guess feral have to reshift for Cure Poison. Scatter shot, Frost trap, Scare Beast + Viper sting and he will be OOM soon, isn't it?
Vipersting breaks Scatter and trap.

Not my cup of tea what so ever. I never liked BM because the entire spec is relying on a 2 min cd, And without it , your kind of useless. It works somewhat descent in 1vs1 and maybe in Burst cleaves for the memes in arenas. Thats my personal opinion.
what spec do hunters usually play in arena in tbc?
Depends on the setup you play but most often mm/surv and draingame with a restodruid.
BM can also be played with cleaves but mostly for the memes.
@@Hastenx BM for bgs or just go MM? I cant see SV is better than MM for bgs or arenas, looks almost the same like WOTLK, MM is just better. So BM only for PVE?

how is the hunter in pvp rly thou? hands down.. can it compete against good players? seems like hunter dont stand much chance if up against an equally skilled player.
they are good in the right hands, Right spec and build and correct global management , also some gadgets are needed to even stand a chance against some class specs. But as an answer: Oh yes Hunters are underrated in tbc. You cant mean every single player in this video is complete garbage? I just use my hunter kit fully and counter them. Some of them YES are pretty bad but def not all of them.

If you didn’t pre flare or trap before the duels started you def would of lost to the that second female rogue. normally In duels rogues get the openers
Its a free win for a rogue if they get free opener in Tbc. So whats the point? Rogue can counter everything i do, Its a different story in Classic because the rogue cant Cloak of shadows , shadowstep or trinket the trap.
So yeah , there is no reason what so ever to give the rogue a free opener here.
