Tender wild guide is crazy for a dork
The tarmogoyf tokens from mh3 set up offspring really well because the token for the mana dork does specify the mana cost is 1G on the token, which is probably how it’ll be formatted for all future specific copy tokens
Kinda happy that this set is giving food tokens more viable strategies than just life gain strategies
Tender Wild Guide is going to be nuts in my Xavier Sal deck.
Dude generates counters for Xavier to flip into populated copies. Basically can hit the table and generate the same value as a 4 mana tapped Gilded Lotus in most cases.
4 mana for a 4/4 with basically battlecry and its mythic rare. Wizards really tripping when they make white "powercreep"
It's so much better than battlecry, he gets the buff as well and doesn't even need to attack lol
It doesn’t need to attack, can duplicate itself on cast to get double triggers, and has a whole other mode that is probably better in a lot of situations of creating tokens. Personally I’d say that it’s a lot better than just battle cry imo.
It also likely gets to trigger the turn it comes down. No haste required.

Warren Warleader is a fantastic upgrade for the Family Matters commanderdeck
I like to use saw in half on my commander for my squirrel deck which is of course Hazel. Make 2 hazel's to make 4 hazels at end step and so on and so forth. Board wipes are your only hope (in most cases). Sawing rottenmouth is nice too.
I hope the bundle includes all the offspring tokens for all the creatures.

Osteomancer seems great with the asmo package and maybe abusable with tyvar. Lots of value with Grist as well.
That squirrel is going to be nutty in a reanimator commander deck. Just put in things that also eat counters and food generation and you can just keep abusing your graveyard with ease

Forest to a Sol Ring turn 1, Tender Wildguide turn 2 with Offpspring. Have 6 mana going into turn 3.

I got two Warren warleaders in a sealed draft prerelease
I pulled two of the four drop white mouse whose valiant trigger lets you play a 3 drop from the first five cards off of your deck. Once a turn I reequip it and trigger the ability. It was super strong in my sealed event matches
The Rabbit deck is getting pretty crazy.

They made a rabbit knight in MTG as strong as a Strixhaven God, or a lesser dragon. I'm questioning their decisions here.
Tender Wild Guide is going in my Raggadragga deck and he is going to be a beast!! If anyone knows raggadragga, correct me if I am wrong but by paying his offspring 3 times it brings his overall coat to 8 and triggers Raggadragga... Correct?
Correct, it is an additional cost, therefore it counts as you having spent 8 mana.
Edit: I made a mistake, you cannot pay the offspring cost multiple times like you can with the squad mechanic, therefore there is no way to trigger Raggadragga with the guide.

It seems like it does a lot for 4 mana, especially with the flexibility of Offspring. It’s definitely not broken, but I believe it’s a very solid card for almost any creature deck.

@@MTGRecon 4 mana for a body that makes one 1/1 a turn or pumps team for 1 is super low impact imo. And 6 mana for the copy of it is too expensive. I'd much rather just for 5 mana cast a God-Eternal Okettra if I really wanted Tokens.
I'd rather cast a Toski for that mana every day of the week, and he's only a rare!
Maybe if Warren said 'Whenever you attack, creatures you control gain +1/+1 until end of turn. And 'Whenever a creature you control deals combat damage to an opponent make a 1/1'. Then maybe it'd see play.

It's a solid card to be sure but... it's no mythic.
Any OTHER color this would be an uncommon or MAYBE a bulk rare.
Heck, if it was a GREEN card, it might have even been a common.
It READS like it's doing a lot when it's really just an expensive way to make vanilla bodies and a basic P/T buff that only exists during combat.
The foraging guy is busted in Tayam

Offspring is making a case for one of the most obnoxious abilities ever.
Maha it's feathers night is a dumb good commander card. A 6/6 for 5 in black with flying and trample, ward discard a card (making all target removal at least a -1 for your opponent) and it makes all your OPPONENTS creatures have 1 base toughness. God damn
Offspring is so great of a mechanic that I wishes the orcs were never printed

In any other deck it is annoying though. Unsure why modern magic is so anti combo.
'Once per turn', 'only as sorcery', 'with a finality counter'... its like they regret old open ended magic design and are trying to pigeon hole new play patterns
