With health challenges in the house, and this year more than usually 🙈 I am behind… and some weeks I have maybe some photos or just 1-2. I will decorate more and write more. Back in September I got myself a HP skinny Classic I use it to write a diary/some sentences from the day. And this is helpfull when I go back and do my memoryplanning. And to have a photoprinter home is a must!
I love how you fill up the page im always left with alot of white space and I think thats because, I always think I need more room to write then what I do
Yes, that happens sometimes. I figure that in the end, I can always write over the top of a sticker if need be. You can also go back after journaling and add in more to fill up the space.
I got way behind, so I did all my photos and wrote dates on the back. Then sorted them into months. I pulled one month at time and sorted the weeks. One of the things I struggle with is journaling as I prefer typed journaling. This was becoming my road block so I decorated and put my photos on and called it done. I’d like to go back and add journaling here and there but if I don’t it’s all good.
That's a great idea to keep your photos organized if you are a little behind. I like using my writing, because I figure my kids will appreciate seeing my actual handwriting some day! And I love how you give yourself grace to get the photos down and not worry too much about the journaling!
Is printing at home worse than lab printing? I mean, do pictures last as long as well as their quality? I have a Brother DCPJ1050DW... Thank you so much!!
I horde my stickers, ephemeras, etc and I run out of creativity as to place the pics. I tend to stick the pictures first then put embellishment. I also have so many different types of paper, stickers, so I get overwhelm as the making the page cohesive. It takes a couple of days to do a page!

No worries on working backwards a little. Take your time and enjoy the process!

The metal stickers are so cool. I like that you put the paper behind them.
Thanks so much!

I love memory planning…it just takes time lol
For reals! That is what I mean into this year - just no time to memory plan.
My struggle is getting the pictures printed and sorted for the week, then I get so far behind I’m overwhelmed 😢
Sounds like an at-home photo printer should be on your Christmas wishlist...that makes a huge difference for me.
@@ScrappyWife for sure! And a typewriter 🤪
@@ScrappyWife Do pictures printed on an Inkjet printer fade after a few years?
Mine is specifically a small photo printer, but a typical inkjet. But, no, they haven’t faded.

Printing at home works fabulous for me and I haven't noticed any difference in the quality.
Printing photos is always a struggle! I love this platform though! How do you print 4 to a photo??
I use an app - it is linked in the description box!
@@ScrappyWife thank you!!
My big problem is usually I have too many pictures every week. I still do it and I add sheets or stack. But it makes it a little harder.
Totally get that! When I have a ton of pictures, I usually just pick and choose a few of my favorites instead of trying to get them all onto the page.

You can always try to make yourself some mini "kits" with stickers and/or paper. Narrowing our down your stash will help with the decision paralysis.
Thank you!
⚾️ glad you enjoyed retreat!!
Thanks so much Ann...it was wonderful!
Love this!!
Thanks so much!
I’ve tried memory planning. I either forget to take photos or I get so far behind I get overwhelmed
For me the key is reserving a specific time each week to work on it!
