I totally LOVE all your memory spreads. I'm about halfway binge watching all your memory planning videos. They are truly an inspiration and pulled me out of a hole and helped me jump start my own. Before I start a memory spread I always watch one of your videos to inspire me and get me in the mood. Thank you for all your time and effort in producing these videos!
Love that you give yourself so much grace and remind us to do the same. That’s so important 👏🏼 I’ve struggled with coming up with a system for memory planning so I’m looking forward to seeing what you do!
Thank you so much for your honesty! I think we all go through phases in our creative lives. Your memory planner is beautiful and will be much loved in the future, I’m sure. If it is a chore it probably is time to switch it up. I look forward to seeing what you choose to do in 2024. Thanks for sharing!!🙂
I loved watching you document your weeks, but I agree - no pressure! I still do traditional scrapbooks and enjoy it from time to time, but there is no way I could do it every week like you did for so long. I think each of us have to see what works for us. And do what we enjoy the most. That's what hobbies are for!
As the schedule continues to increase, the amount of memory keeping can decrease. Using that, try monthly memory keeping. If you have a really specific event with lots of pictures, then do a special page. It may help with time restraints. ⚾️
I have always been hesitant to commit to weekly memory keeping. I say my life isn’t busy but it’s busy enough I struggle to sit down once a week to memory keep. I think I’ve mentioned it before but I am going to try doing monthly memory keeping in a bujo for 2024. Like Ann said if there’s a big day/memory event I can dedicate a page or two to it, but then go back to just a monthly memory when I want/need without the pressure of a dated system. And those blank pages, they tell their own story. And that’s okay. ❤️🩹
So I use the happy planner but I do a book for each kid. I do a story a month for each of my kids. I type out the story print it. Add photos and stickers after I print it. But it is so much easier. My kids love it because every story is like an actual story. 'once upon a time.... " and going through this gives us a lot of joy. I do like the photos journals but they were too decorated.
Beautiful Memory keeping book. I'm starting a Memory keeping Travelers Notebook from Cocoa Daisy this year. It's one per month but different than weekly/daily.
Your memory planning videos last year, maybe year before? Was how i found you! I’m sad others do not find that same joy. You’re fabulous!! I will miss your old style-I get that it was kind of the same, but that never bothered me, but I also get it as the creator that you are ready for a change. I’m excited to see what your next version is!
I found you through memory planning as well! I used HP planners a few years ago then got really behind for a few years-ended up just putting photos in a scrapbook to get them off my phone-but returned to this system during the second half of 2023. I copied exactly what you do! I got a subscription to Hip Kit Club…tear the scrapbook paper and put it on the sides-the whole thing. It gave me back my love of collecting and documenting my family’s stories!!!! Thank you for that. I will look to learn about your new system soon!
I for one love your memory keeping videos! I look forward to them. My first pup was a Boston Terrier named Penny. So sorry for the loss of your craft room buddy.💙💛🪴
I am so sorry to hear of the loss of your dog. How especially hard when you have to make that decision yourself! I agree that you should only do those things that bring you joy. Put your efforts where you feel are best and I promise that we will learn and enjoy them no matter what! I will always look forward to your videos no matter the content-they are always very inspiring! And fun!
Im new to filming my planner. But, I’ve decided certain things will remain off camera…like after the pen & memory planning. Thank you for sharing your journey.
I think you did a beautiful job. I think you should finish it. Loss is hard especially a puppy who loves us unconditionally. I think you’ll feel better with it finished but give yourself some time. No rush
You share so much on RUclips, some things just need to be for yourself. Don't worry about it. I kinda think of my planner as a memory book, too. I don't add pictures, but all the notes, to do list, etc are just fun to look back on, especially the calendars I have from when my girls were little!
I am currently using a personal rings planner but have a coiled EC daily duo not being used. You've given me an idea to use the DD as memory keeper. Look forward to seeing what you have in mind for 2024.
I am going to do a month in review instead of weekly. I am a Senior and not a lot goes on during the week as kids are grown, no grandchildren and work full time. I love your memory keeping ideas and hope to incorporate some in my monthly memory keeping.
I always loved watching your memory planning, and attempted it myself…but I got so far behind I gave it up😢 this past year I created monthly folios (a class I took) that I could document the highlights of each month…I’m behind a little bit on this as well but not so bad that I want to stop. I definitely am interested in what you plan to do ❤
I also decided on a new format for this year. I love this style but it was just kot working out documenting every week. I wish I could but my life currently does not allow for it, which is ok. Im instead going to document standout moments as I go on plain paper. Another utuber does a month in review where she documents the entire month on 2 pages. There r many options to memory keep.
It's really hard when what you do for fun becomes a job. Sometimes it starts feeling like a job when it is a job. I appreciate your honesty!! What about making one spread a month instead of one every week?
@@ScrappyWife It's a bit of a double edged sword--you're great at it, you love it, but when it does become ypur job , things get a lot more complicated and demanding!!
Oh I absolutely love your memory planning- your videos keep me going in the background while I play catch up in my own! You definitely put a lot of pressure on yourself to keep thinking of new ideas and layouts- and honestly? Theres no need! Even if its all lined up in the boxes it’s a different colour scheme and look every time, I’d be super chuffed just to have an almost complete year, wouldn’t even cross my mind to worry about the layout looking samey 😅 I know you have to follow your algorithms and stuff to maintain RUclips income but really hope you won’t be changing it too drastically, like moving away from the happy planner layout itself- you’re like the last man (woman!) standing at this point in the HP memory keeping world! And what I love most about watching your videos is that you can tell you really use your planners and it’s real life layouts- not just empty sticker layouts done for likes and product adverts and constant haul videos 🙈
Yes, it is very much real life, which is why I always try to be honest about what is working and what is not. I will be moving away from the HP layout, but I am excited about what I am going to try in 2024 :)

Aw, I am so glad that you enjoy these videos! I do love the process of memory planning, but it certainly can be overwhelming after a while.
Thanks for sharing! You are so right about hard times draining the creativity. Thanks for being real.
You are very welcome, thank you for watching.
Love that you give yourself so much grace and remind us to do the same. That’s so important 👏🏼 I’ve struggled with coming up with a system for memory planning so I’m looking forward to seeing what you do!

I love watching your memory planning videos. 2023 was difficult for me, too. Just remove the blank pages and let it go. Your memories are beautiful.

I think that is a great approach to take.
My memory keeping is in my everyday journal it's easy to keep up with and for me it's less overwhelming....
