Tahereh has such a wonderful voice, it was so relaxing and soothing! Also loved her choices of books, and that she threw in the romance genre. I used to look down on it, but it has it's worth and there are some wonderful romance books out there, but it's so often dismissed or readers are embarrassed to enjoy it.
I can tell she reads romance novels because she does an excellent job writing the romance in the Shatter Me series. I’ve never been more emotionally attached to a couple than the ones she’s written. And any writer than can make you attached to both sides of a love triangle at the same time is a very talented writer. **Potential Spoilers Ahead** She had me totally attached to Adam and Juliette and then she had me just as attached to Warner and Juliette. I ended up being team Warner + Juliette but man, I was conflicted because I wanted her to be with them both 😅
Her favorites were the most eclectic of any in this series I have seen. And some of her loves were my favorites too. I’ll chime in with the rest-her voice is fantastic and it should have been longer!

I can't read LOTR either. I have noticed that ALL bar 1 or 2 of the main characters are male, as if that's normal.
