Excellent. I really like how you embrace the simplicity behind the tune, point out the 251s to set up for the next phrase. After playing for 35+ years, I now realize I’ve never really learned a very accurate transcription of this tune. It’s nice to take it back off the shelf, dust it off, and learn it again. Awesome video. When I play along with the video i struggle to hit that Dm7 at the beginning of the turnaround. It feels better if I just go straight to the G7.

@@dylantorrance Hi Dylan, over the years I have been watching a lot of Jens Larsen who does a good job, but he is a real brainiac and it is a real job following his tutorials. Moreover, I know tons of theory but I can not play guitar. I can play scales and modes and tell you all about modulation and borrowed chords. But I can not play a song / solo piece from beginning to end. I appreciate this tutorial because it is first easy, secondly a great song song, and third you provide the lead sheet to it. So, together with IReal Pro I have a chance at getting this down. Keep up with this format please ! Thanks!

Clearly means easy for beginners in jazz guitar. And the vast majority of people wishing to learn jazz guitar would be intermediate or advanced players already. No one should try to pick it up when they’re still grasping chords.

😂 nothing about guitar is easy, if you want easy stick to the 4 chords and learn 100+ strumming songs. Guitar takes years to master, it’s the adult rubiks cube and just when you think you have it figured you find out there is so much more.
