Btw, i had these BMW 6pot calipers on my e46 m3, they have pistons made of ceramic and they tend to crack and overheat in track days. I recommend changing the pistons with reinforced ones 👍🏻
This reminds me so much to my 16th to 19th age. We had huge moped meetings. Running away from cops, doing drag races on 110 pound mopeds with 20 to 30HP hitting speeds up to 80/90mph. It was kinda big here in the netherlands. Our group was called "the saints" and i was one of the organisers of a sub group in rotterdam. We even had a meeting in hilversum on the evening program of a public radiostation called "nachtegiel" or radio 3FM. When u ride with ur little group in the evening/nights questioning yourself not "if" but "when" will the first cop show up. So many good memories. ❤️

Just a note with those bmw calipers on the supra, they are known for having pistons that crack from track use. Some sort of weird ceramic. They make kits to use standard steel pistons that hold up much better to heat

Coming from someone who has an ef (ed6) hatch just on cut springs, wider wheels, and factory really slow d15, my car is an absolute blast to drive in the corners. I can only imagine his crx. Way lighter than my car, far better suspension, and nearly (probably) triple my horsepower.
Reason i said probably triple, is before my d15 blew up, it had a seized timing belt tensioner pulley and was low on compression a tad aswell. And brand new they only made 92hp at the crank
Highly recommend doing a piston upgrade in the brake calipers as the factory ones mushroom with aggressive use. Assuming its something that hasnt been looked into
@@debruijnjoost1983 they work great but for whatever reason they used an aluminun cap on the piston which starts melting ive also had this happen to me with the same calipers a couple years back
CRX’s are easily the most fun cars to drive. I have an ‘85 Si that maybe makes 130hp to the wheels and there’s no drivers assists at all so it’s just pure car and it absolutely rips on the back roads.
