    Great Video again! I'd love to see an Mj/Kobe post fade for guards. Also If you do that an emphasis on the best way to get it over taller players.

      I'm 5'6" and I always play 1v1 against my friend who's 6'0... Any suggestions on how to score on bigger guys? What moves should I concentrate on?
      And lastly, I'm having trouble coordinating my step-back move, probably because he almost always is still able to contest my shot, what can I do to improve my strides?
      THANK YOU!

    tried these moves out and man it helped me kill it on the court today! i got some questions tho:
    1) in the Quick pro handles program, it just says to go through the ball screen series once, but it doesn't say how many reps of each screen type and i was hoping y'all could help clarify
    2) any tips on properly executing the spin move to avoid traveling? that's been my biggest concern that i rarely ever use it
    thanks for always releasing amazing contents guys!

    • @ThincPROBasketball
      @ThincPROBasketball  7 лет назад +1

      1) You can do it anywhere 1-3 sets as you progress. Do each screen type 10-15 reps of made shots
      2) With the spin move you want to make sure you spin tight and compact so that you stay on balance when you get ready to finish

    Props for explaining the step thru properly. Too many trainers/coaches teach that lifting that pivot as they step thru is ok when it's 100% a travel like u said. Gotta jump off both feet once step thru happens. Well done

    • @Kichoman1983
      @Kichoman1983 7 лет назад +1

      Jeremiah Nemeth re: the step thru, last time I read the rules you are actually allowed to lift the pivot foot when u attempt the layup/pass as long as it doesn't return to the ground. If it does, then it's a travel. Correct me if I'm wrong tho..
      Excellent simple yet effective moves!

    one what is the song playing? I like the background music in these videos. And two ever since I started playing basketball just last year I've been putting too much power in my shots and sometimes lay ups. I can shoot the 3 easily now. But mid range I tend to overshoot. And when I take my strength away my shot comes up short. so either I hit the backboard too hard depending on the angle or I air ball. you have any tips for my problem?

    • @ThincPROBasketball
      @ThincPROBasketball  7 лет назад

      Thanks man it's our own instrumental music! Focus on getting more loft in your shot and balancing out your upper/lower body power ratio. You may be using too much upper body (arms) or powering too much through your lower body (legs)

    can a guard use all this move effectively? as a pg/sg I need to find more way to score than dropping 3s im a preety good 3s shooter but can't do it consistently.

    • @ThincPROBasketball
      @ThincPROBasketball  7 лет назад

      You definitely could use this as a guard. You would definitely want to do it against a smaller player guarding you. So to answer your question yes you can use it so get out there and put that work in!👍💪🏀

    1-4 I are great moves to break defenders it's basic because most of the times defenders this days expect a crossover fast dribble moves sometimes do that to switch the phase because I see a lot of Kyrie Irving wanna be players this days God I hate those players.
    PS. You help me improve and learn how other players might do thanks.

    Shoe suggestions for tall small forwards?

    • @ThincPROBasketball
      @ThincPROBasketball  7 лет назад +1

      High/low is personal preference, but look for a shoe with proper width, good support through the arc, and a rigid sole with limited breaks
