From my expierence with hackers, I used to play this game called Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2, game was very unbalanced (still is till this day) and on Ps4 you could hack the game and the Devs (Bandai) done nothing as well to ban those modders for many years until they started to lose players and because they were losing players, this also mean losing money and so they decided all modders their modded moves (which were skills from boss battles) shall be removed, despite they done that, I never return on the game because 1 it took them years and despite us asking, they ignored us or made excuses "it's unavoidable" even though they made it impossible to hack xenoverse 2 on PC (online), 2 only reason they "fix" the modding issues was only because they were losing money so in end they never cared which is why I don't feel like returning. So with that I feel like gun is same as Bandai in somewhat of a way, only difference is, you can't hack Friday on the ps4. Devs never really care most of the time about their fans unless they are losing money, then all of a sudden they "care" about their fans.

Sadly they used the law suit as an escape goat so they don't have to work on Friday anymore and it was NEVER really explained as in why they used that as a lie and still use it till this day since most fans already know that the Devs still had permission to work and make content for this game so I believe they simply either way got bored of the game or they and Illfonic could never agree on things what they wanted to do with the game.
