If your cat likes the outside maybe you should walk him on leash. I know it sounds a bit crazy to some of you but cats also need to go outside even if they have litter box. Not as often as dogs but like once or twice a week you should take him out for a while. Besides I really love this apartment it looks really cosy and gives an illusion of neatness without being too neat for young working adults. Also this floor plan is very nice. I always struggle with smaller apartments as I want some open space living but now that I’m thinking about this it actually makes sense to have closed off rooms as it gives way more space for furniture and decorations.
this is not true, a lot of cats can be perfectly content as inside-only cats. taking them out on a leash can be good for stimulation but it's not needed unless the cat has been an outside-cat previously or is otherwise unhappy being inside.
This is a very cute idea ! The only thing that I felt didn't make sense was the stand mixer. Those are pretty expensive irl so the couple you describe would likely not be able to afford something like that.

@SimLicy No, my sister just got one, and it was very expensive IRL. But for the storytelling purposes with the sims, it could have been a hand me down. No worries :) I didn't mean any offense.

i ADORE this teal/orange color scheme, and the way you mixed newer chic pieces with rundown mix-match pieces looked so authentic for a first apartment
