First time I heard autotune being used in K-pop was in the latest BTS album, my ears were bleeding, I was shook, couldn't wait for the live versions. Imagine spending all that money in training them to dance and sing but than use autotune. Shame.
It's used here for effects. But imo it'd sound better without. Kpop idols don't need autotune, they usually only use it for the robotic effect. I wish they wouldn't.

Taeyang has such a nice voice and he’s like a prince in my eyes ( my ultimate bias is Rowoon 😕) Taeyang is cool too, the first song I heard from them was O Sole Mio and I loved it!. Rowoon has always been that member that makes me feel attacked. So the point is that Taeyang reminds me of SHINee’s Taemin, I was just like: “I don’t know I feel a Taemin inside Taeyang, he could be a main dancer, like his face, his voice, his everything, I checked his profile and saw that he is actually a main dancer! ( It would be cool if they had a collaboration. I told my sister about this and she said something like: “But, wouldn’t it be hard to distinguish?”. And I replied something like: “Well...yeah, kinda?, there are obviously differences between them, they are not exaactly the same, you can still differentiate them 😐. I’m leaving Fantasies/guys/reader( s )!.
