I like your idea of a joy list. Like many others here, I watch RUclips to rest a little. For chamomile tea you use the blooms. I´m so happy your rose is about to bloom. I have no dear here but slugs are eating so many of my plants. I clean the hole house in one day (Saturday). I also do all my loundry that day. Since I´m working outside the house that is the best way for me. Hugs!

We were on holiday in Wales all of last week,a real get away, sadly the only time I got a signal on my phone was when we went into the nearest town, we only went there twice,both times just to pick up supplies, I’ve throughly enjoyed binge watching your last few uploads,I’ve just the one left to see. I’m very sorry your son’s plans to visit were scrapped, such a dreadful thing the airport did,to be told complete misinformation is appalling. However as you point out you had gotten all your house clean in readiness so that was a positive. Many,many congratulations to Ivon on her graduation,such an achievement for her and you! My breaks are watching RUclips videos. Before we go to sleep at night, my husband and I watch woodworking and furniture repair (sometimes metalworking) videos on my iPad. Our black kitty Manchester joins us for this “movie time”, which is really tummy nap time on Mama (me). We both love it and enjoy the talents and master abilities of the people whose channels we watch.
My break when I’m tidying my house is watching RUclips videos. PS don’t forget to ask your son to look at his belongings in the basement in case you can declutter some things of his he no longer wants.
For my break, every single day, I go on Facebook at 9 pm( I live in Buffalo Ny) but it goes on at 8pm other places,and watch Extraordinary Solitude. I am getting closer to God, have some downtime, and growing in the Word!❤
I wouldn't varnish the coasters. The sandstone is to absorb the moisture/condensation off your glass. The cork protects your table. I have had tea stains come out with water. I put them in a plastic lid face down add a little bit of water, very little, don't cover cork or it will come unglues from the stone. The stone will absorb the water and then set it face down on a paper towel the stain will be left on the paper. Let the stone dry out.

It’s sad you didn’t get to see your son and daughter-in-law, but there was the benefit of a clean house. I’ve always sort of done a little bit of everything each day rather than a full on day on the weekend. I like it much better that way.
My skin also splits a lot - I have lupus and sjogrens and I think the dryness of sjogrens causes it to split- along with teeth and nose and eyes - but I split really bad
So… you feel like you have got nothing done? The things that count as “something” do not include folding two weeks worth of towels (judging by the amount), watering plants, emptying the dish washer, showing us your books and coloring. What counts as something?
