Honestly, I am leaning pretty hard towards Atrocitus being my favorite lantern. Not because "Oh so edgy", but because of his somewhat moral compass and motivations. I mean, to have The Specter not be able to just vaporize you due to your purpose, is as boss as it gets!
I definitely agree, and I also find it incredibly cool that his ending in Injustice 2 is basically, “I fucked up but thanks to being shown compassion by Proselyte I now realize the true path for the red lanterns. Rage enough to burn the worst offenders, but not so much as to blindly consume those who deserve compassion.”

This 'Brightest Day' video, and Green Lantern currently fighting Zod, got me thinking about the 'Brightest Day: Justice League International', series. During the series, it's explained that for the past 50 years, Superman has been on the other side of the galaxy fighting back an invasion by the Green Lantern Corps! Unfortunately, this isn't depicted, only spoke of in a panel or two. It certainly would have made a fantastic Superman story. Superman vs GLC for a 50 year battle, can't get much better than that.
Hey ROB you never put in the orange and indigo tribe origins in the BLACKEST night story so is it a partially full story that doesn't make any sense. You hyped it up in the story I love larfleez origin yet you skipped it over.
Larfleeze and his merry band wants to make a heist and steal a treasure that the Guardians won't let anyone get, they succeed but it's the orange power battery, they are all fighting over it since its power immediately enthralls them, then the Guardians bust in, stuff happens and in the end they basically tell the thieves that they can have the battery and the planet on condition that they never leave. Then they basically just say "Oh, by the way, fight to the death for it!" and bugger off as Larfleeze backstabs his previous buddies. The end.
I love it when you make these long videos. I'm not a big fan of dc but I will always watch these full story videos. Thank you for all your hard work and thank you to the team in the background helping you make these incredible videos.
Ok im 49 mins in and I gotta point out this pet peeve where Rob Always brings up the Man Hunters whenever he mentions Red Lanterns...I havent forgotten
Aw, dude, I've been there before, too. But honestly, what's even worse from my experiences is making your feelings known, being accepted, feeling lived in return, and then fumbling by mistake and being completely unable to recover from it because you're still in love with someone who no longer sees you the way that you still see them. That's the absolute worst. Watching them move on, while you're feeling absolutely nothing but self-loathing at your own mistakes. There is no remedy for it. You can't just talk your way through it. You're just stuck, *FEELING* it, *all* of it, for as long as it takes for anything in this world to provide some kind of relief. But the reality is, there is absolutely no relief for that kind of grief, of knowing that you are not and never will be enough for the one that you love - the one that got away.

Muhammad Branham - his work is good, but his voice can get really grating in large doses. He does read through the comic more concisely than rob. Rob tends to ramble A LOT and go on tangents, which i dont mind most of the time, but if i need to just read through a story, comicstorian is a better choice... both have different styles and different content. Rob actually said him and Benny do that on purpose so that their content isn't redundant to one another. They're both good and go together like Jameson and Guiness. If you can take comicstorian in small doses, it's actually worth it for some stories that rob doesn't cover or does and goes on too many tangents without fully reading the actual story.
I love this video because Rob talks about the guy who got possessed by the predator. I have the same problem because I watch from afar too. Thanks for saying all those nice things about going out and saying something. You really helped a lot Rob 👍🏼
Saint Walker is my favorite lantern. The blues are my favorite corps. I think hope is the best emotion of the spectrum. Willpower is a close second. Saint Walkers origin story gets me every time tho.

That whole thing with Lobo being just Atrocious being socially awkward, tryin to make friends, bringing his cat...I *thought* Atrocious was my favorite of any kind of Lantern, but now I somehow love the guy more now.Larfleeze is a close second, it was the double page art that did it, of the 7 main Lanterns and the ones they deputized flying into battle...but Larfleeze is just glaring at Lex.
Taking a quick break, as someone who's read the main _Brightest Day_ storyline, as such. I couldn't agree more. :) The problem with _Brightest Day_ as such is that it didn't even follow everyone. A lot of it was behind-the-scenes stuff spread out over multiple comic series. You really don't get to find out much more than what happened to Deadman, Aquaman (and entourage) and a few others. The main _Brightest Day_ story was about (mild spoilers) how the White Lantern and its energy work, as beings. What its agenda is and what the mentality is (thinking entirely long-term and big-picture to the point that you don't get what's going on even if you ask what's going on). The White Lantern energy, attends to _Life,_ broadly speaking, so if someone who is all about _the ecosystem_ of a planet, like say Earth, goes bad. . . But yeah. Basically, _Brightest Day_ was less of a compelling story, and more of a framework for compelling stories.
i love the red lantern stories,each of the red lanterns have such sad and tragic backstories,like rape and murders against them,each one of them fed up with the unfairness of their lives so much that they feel so hopeless until they become enragedddd(red lantern mera is a nice spinoff,and can you imagine doomsday or superman with red lantern ring :OOO)
I like Guy Gardner, cause he was the first male to be a Star Saphire. As well as Dexx-Star the only Red Lantern on the Juctice League, as far as I know.

If I say, "I had a good day at work, I graded papers, then I got stuck in a traffic jam that I escaped by riding on a rainbow unicorn to heaven and back," the strangest part of that sentence is clear. If I say "I flew to Jupiter, jumped in, then I walked out into the set of Stranger Things crewed by lizard people, but when I left, I got stuck in a Nyan Cat space parade, which I got out of by riding a unicorn to heaven and back," that is very much no longer true. The same goes for swearing.
Hey Rob you should do a What if scenario of a Kryptonian/Asgardian hybrid. Say like Odin wanted to create another powerful child in case Thor ever ran amuck and decided to have a child with like Supergirl or something. What would happen if you just dropped that child in each respective universe? What powers would it have? Huge fan, love your videos! PS. Not gonna lie that intro is a bit creepy
