Record of Restoration Work on the National Treasure, "Portrait of Takami Senseki"

This documentary covers the restoration of Watanabe Kazan's painting "Portrait of Takami Senseki" (Tokyo National Museum), which took place over an 24-month period from October 2013 to September 2015.
The restoration of this artwork and the video recording were made possible by a generous grant from the Bank of America Art Conservation Project.

I really wish that the ORIGINAL KATANA were to be found and returned back to Japan.The ORIGINAL meaning, the ORIGINAL KATANA that has been handed down since the beginning of the very first Shogun till the end of WWII which it was stolen or handed over to the authorities.
