"Stranded" is a 2002 pop song by Jennifer Paige and the second single released from her second studio album Positively Somewhere as the most successful single from the album. This song became a massive airplay hit in some parts of Europe, most notably in Germany, where it reached top 10 positions on airplay charts. It was also popular in Japan and Italy.The music video features Paige finding herself stranded on an isolated island where her car runs out of fuel and she ends up wandering in the beaches all alone. The video was shot in Spain and directed by David Mould.
This has me genuinely smiling in 2024 .

I remember "Sober" when I was a middle school boy. Had a sleep over at a friends' house and we were kinda channel surfing at a certain moment in time. VH1 or something came up and he held it there to pick something up or whatever (don't remember). Asked him to keep it on there after he was through. The melody hooked me so much that I kinda risked my "bro" credibility right there and then. I just wanted to listen, pretending and she was singing to me. And it was the most beautiful song that came out of nowhere. He understood, thankfully
