My first fully learned song was Dee by Randy rhoads but the first rock kinda song was crazy train I believe. It's been so fun playing the guitar at the end of December is when I will have been playing for a year

It’s nice connecting with old favorites playing these but what songs are fun to play on guitar and have a melody versus something this simplistic or vocally based with the rhythm? I’m hoping these thoughts mean I’m moving into the intermediate realm.

I think it would help to put the tabs at the top of the screen because as they are when you freeze to examine the notes some are blocked by the time bar on the video player. Just a suggestion.

Great video!!! Thanks for posting it. I like to use stuff like these to introduce real rock and roll to my grand kids. BTW, I find it totally hilarious that "Smoke on the Water", has to be muted. I know it's a RUclips thing, but it's not like everyone, and their brother doesn't know it. I could play Smoke on the Water decades before I could even play the guitar, and I bet that is so with most guitar players. Lol.... 🤣😂🤣
