WOW!!! 30k!!!!! big big BIG congrats on the milestone!!!! Would love a livestream AMA for this big landmark!
I could watch you both all day, you are simply great 👍 keep it up 👍 Best wishes from Hamburg Germany
Ellie is the star of the show. Love Sorrentos Subs, they're the absolute best!
When I worked n in Freehold about 30 years ago. The lunch line was outside the building. I remember the owner had a white Lincoln town car and the license plate read SUBS-33 Pretty cool..
I love your videos! We tried Tropical Smoothie Cafe last night because of your other video. Keep them coming! 😊
THANK YOU VACAY-J for FINALLY getting your Father to eat his Sub the RIGHT WAY!(not upside down!) YES! It finally happened! Although not without difficulty lol. For Vacay-J-D this was such a foreign concept you literally had to physically place his hands correctly on the bread and go step by step until he did it. Bad habits die hard.. I realize I personally have made a point of this on MANY of your hoagie review videos. DOUBLE THUMBS UP!!
Looks like a cool place. Great video.
Hi Jay it warms my heart seeing how close you are to your dad and that you spending time with him and Elly. You are so lucky to still have your dad I miss mine everyday. Love your videos. Take care of dad and tell him everyday how much you love him, after having a argument still tell him before going to bed that you love him because I found out that you might not have a chance tomorrow ❤
YUM!
Safe Journey!
Have a great day!!!
go w seltzer cold and lemon cant hurt anyone or water
Liquid Death has been around for awhile now, it use to be just regular water, the name means "Death to Plastic", as the company is trying to rid the world of plastic water bottles. The regular water is top 3 in my book, Icelandic Glacial is the number 1 water money can buy in my opinion.
That sub looked good!
Thanks guys! There's magic in those fresh deli subs w/soft bread agreed.
Watching to see Ellie B !!!!!
called sulkys we were old enough to go to roosevelt raceway in long island freehold is gone only meadowlands in area for harness
wow the brkfst side - extremely clean wow A++
Almost 30K subscribers! Let's gooooo!!!
You can't go to Freehold NJ (hometown of Bruce Springsteen) without visiting Federici's Famous Pizza which everyone knows is still today Bruce's favorite Pizza joint.
Agreed
Good thing you guys work out and have a healthy appetite! Time for a Sunday #foodgasm Hi to Ellie the B!!
Liquid death has been around dor a while. Mainly musicians are sponcered by them. I like their flat water.
That’s so cute she loves cheese 😂 one of my cats always steals my cheese off my plate if I have any lol. She eats bread too and cereal. Strange cat lol
Fun fact. They are the original Sorrentos on Royal Carribian until Royal changed, and alot of people who cruise on Royal are disappointed Sorrentos is no longer on the ships
Schiano's pizza, Toms River makes the best subs! Hot or cold you can't go wrong.
If there is no video today, but a live stream for 30k, I’m all for it! Would be epic!
Not to worry, I promise a live stream is coming. I know the suspense is killing you. Lol I feel like I wanna be in a specific place to do our first live stream. I haven’t decided yet like I don’t know like from the boardwalk or something like that you know what I mean.
@@VacationEducation I love that a live stream is in the works! Thank you for the update 🙂
We always referred to it as Harness Racing or the Trotters
😊 thank you for being smart :)))
freehold closed in december due to loss of keeping it running many years it had no slots
@@rogerrosen2323?? What are you referring to? The racetrack? I think you're referencing someone else's comment
Ellie the b😊😊😊😊😊😊
sub sandwich, also known as the Italian sandwich, originated in Italian-American communities in the northeastern United States in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. The exact origin and timing are unknown, but it's thought to have been created by an Italian immigrant.
Origin theories
Dominic Conti
One theory suggests that Italian immigrant Dominic Conti invented the sub sandwich in New Jersey around 1910. He may have been inspired by the shape of the submarine Fenian Ram, which he saw in a New Jersey museum. 🎉🎉🎉
Great sandwich spot while I used to work in Freehold. Never tried their breakfast. The cold Italian subs are the classic.
freehold is closed raceway after many years
@@rogerrosen2323 Horse racing industry has been dying for a while. I am surprised that Monmouth Park is surviving without subsidies. Online and apps gambling has put the last nail in coffin.
@@JoeK-q6q well tracks w slots are ok and monmouth has sports betting for people who dont use online online lets you bet 10c to 50c minimums and 5 min deposits or 10/they do simulcaststing they get fees from other tracks and live racing yonkers mgm sponsors so they can run they manage it yonkers almost closed whrn clerks struck 40 yars ago and then they changed to slots and doing well
You should visit Seed to Sprout in Avon NJ very healthy food!
You need to go to Royal buffet on Oregon in Philly. The crab legs are worth the price alone. You won’t be disappointed
A really great place is Ragazzi's in Marlton. Their chicken pastina soup, meatballs, pizza, and chicken cheese staek hoagies are all amazing.
Nice lil fountain
Harness racing is what it's called. Also, the oldest racetrack in the country, Freehold Raceway, just had it's final race in December after almost 200 years of racing! I was able to visit in the final weeks.
yes must have slots and sposorship like mgm yonkers racewy casino closed pompano park since it could run casino w no horses law
Alright I gotta recommend Mike's Giant Sized Submarine Sandwiches in Keyport, NJ. It's the cleanest and freshest sub shop I ever been in. The same guys have been behind the counter slicing the cuts as long as I can remember. I always crave it. Also, they have a sub called the Sorrento Super which I feel is a nod to Sorrento's.
Greetings vaca j you rock!🎸!
Italian sub is more healthy than others with loads of mayo. Olive oil and vinegar are low cal and healthy. Love the doggie feeding. lol
Good Job Vacation UnEducation 👍👍The word "Hoagie" was only used twice 😊😊BTW The cart for horse racing is called a racebike or a sulky. Some other Fun Info The Italian sub, also known as the Maine Italian sandwich, is often credited to Giovanni Amato, an Italian immigrant baker in Portland, Maine. Amato is said to have invented the sandwich in 1899 or 1902
This type of racing is known as Harness Racing or Trotters
Krispy Pizza and I play America are also also a must visit in Freehold (very close to where you are) both in the same Shopping Center Complex
Not sure if you are doing any more sub places in Monmouth.. but check out DA subs in Aberdeen ..
The cart is called a sulky. They are called harness races or just the sulkys 😊
The track closed down. Dec 28th was the last day. Sad. It was america's oldest track.
Can you review places in the Cherry Hill area? And Atlantic city?
Beautiful interior it looks just like my childhood pizzeria
Been there and it’s very good 👍🏻
Best bang for your buck in all of New Jersey!
Hamburg Hot Bagels in Hamburg NJ. You won’t regret it!
Its called harness racing
We have a harness horse race track or did have.here in IL \ia quad cities
Id add mayo and deli mustard to that
I got 2 places that are stars 1 is called Mastellone’s in Parkville Md. and 2 Franks pizza and sub in Overlea Md
✨Another Banger…. Let’s Go!!!!✨

monmouth is thoroghbreds not harness no monmouth runs in may not closed and had tv racing and sports betting freehold closed monmouth is in ocean port jersey your confused check if you want i bet horses online mostly all over and australia and s afica in the morning
The horse cart is called a sulky...
It is called Harness Racing
Harness facing called sulkies
ChatGPT: "The carts that horses pull at Freehold Racetrack in NJ are called 'sulkies.'"
Or bikes, as they are two-wheeled.
@bvward 🤯
How u doin NJ ❤
you didnt get any prosciutto or gabagool on that sub. i think they gave you a #1
I’ve been looking for a good sub place in my area besides Jersey mikes. I’ll have to try here I guess since it’s so close. I’m vegetarian so I literally just eat cheese subs lol that’s why the bread and everything really needs to be something special
My problem is that "the bread" makes the sandwich...and in my opinion. they changed the bread that they originally used..
Go try Sealect Seafood in Maple Shade NJ
I don't mean any harm, and maybe because I was brought up old school, but Dad is 71 yrs old. If he wants to eat his sandwich upside down, let him. Life is too short. He is not hurting a soul.
lol 😆 it’s just supposed to be funny… and see how far people get into the video congratulations 🎉 you win the ❤️… from VE lol 😆 I could care less other subscribers mentioned it in the past and I never even noticed it…
@@VacationEducation oh good, I'm glad you don't worry about what folks have to say. Have a blessed week. Looking forward to the next video. Enjoying from Philadelphia👍
Definitely was room for 1 more tomato on that Sub (sandwich maker was not being generous)
Paying the cheese tax
Hey Va-Ca-Ja, the crew over here couldn't help but notice you kept placing the NAPKIN(S) you were wiping your mouth with back on the table. This is a rather UNsanitary maneuver as other customers would soon be occupying that booth We strenuously suggest after soiling the napkins with spittal you place them on your disposable plate. This in turn will keep the dining table surface germ laden free. After all, cleanliness is next to godliness. Hope this helps booby ! . . . . . . . 🤤. 🔚. --- 🤜💥🤛
Freehold Raceway is done and dusted... Closed for good last fall...
The hoagie is believed to have originated in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, where Italian immigrants working at the Hog Island shipyard created the sandwich during World War I. The sandwich was originally called the "Hog Island" sandwich, but was eventually shortened to "hoagie🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
It’s a sub this ain’t south jersey

That peppered ham is prosciuttini not prosciuttino.
Looks great. I'm just not a Fan of the roll cut top and bottom. I prefer cut on one side so it holds all the meat, cheese, oil, and peppers.
How the hell do you get half sub for 2 people 😮😮😮
They be poor 🙁🙁
If you watch the other videos, they’re in the same clothes. So they go to a few places in a day sometimes
No appetites?
I mean who cares what the next man does? Buy whatever you want. They will too. Except no one cares to watch you do anything. Lame troll
@@Liquid_Lonstop wasting your brain explaining to a slow troll. Not worth your time
Is it possible to cut that in half? LOL NO
Why do you bring a dog to an establishment you know🙁🙁??? she's going to want some🥴🥴?????…

@gorymarty56 Bullshit. No medical reason at all.
i think those carts are called rickshaws!
The difference between a sub and a hoagie
A hoagie uses a Cheesesteak roll and it's not cut all the way through as like a sub roll is
No the difference is geographical that’s it!
@@TheJoeur nope you are wrong
