That sandwich has been the same since he started. My Grandfather was a Camden Cop and use to walk the beat down there. Right where you were sitting use to be a large round table that hosted some late-night card games with cold beer and cheesesteaks on demand. Donkeys is like stepping back in time.. Enjoy it !
"Let's Eat!!" The new VE battle cry!! #foodgasm of the day underway!! Those sandwiches look amazing!! I love the Vacay J - D warmup to eating - the rolling up of the sleeves!!
@@FanOfFab4 let’s eat!! You might have a point there! Oh and on a side note either tomorrow or Monday we have a special surprise especially for you! 1950’s Surprise on the way! When your right your right! Amazing suggestion… and all of the adventurers are going to get to e joy because of you thanks again
Ellie the B is like royalty. Vaca J D, pumping his fist. Lol I went to the one in Medford, NJ. Food was great as well, but it's more like eating in a small deli. Enjoyed!
I'm 81yo. When I was 19, I used to go to Donkey's on Haddon Ave, Camden, NJ, for lunch. I don't remember it being this big. It was in the middle of the block, very dark, gloomy and looked nothing like this. It was a small bar with great steaks. Could this be Donkey's II?
Hey Va-Ca-Ja, tremendous effort by you and PoP Va-Ca-Ja on your use of the word "AROMA" when describing pleasant food being prepared. The crew over here take great pride of breaking BOTH of you out of the bad habit of repeatedly stating "SMELLS" as that description tends to have a negative connotation. Keep on keeping on booby ! BTW - your buddy J.L. Jupiter definitely does not recommend the TWO other "Donkey's" locations nearby. He states those sites are very inferior "knock-offs" and don't come close to cooking up the same quality and taste. ➡️. 🥪. -- 🤔
Great post as always pal, I think my only caveat would be the chef with that beard. I'm not sure what flavor beard hair adds to the food, but you know it falls onto the flat top.
I’m from here…used to deliver to this place. They opened up two others in Medford and Mt. Holly. The gentleman that owned the place was very nice. He gave all the delivery guys a free sandwich. This place is in a very bad neighborhood. I wouldn’t take my family there. Drug and gang infested. Watch where you’re at and who you talk to. Somebody WILL approach you for a cigarette or money.
Donkey's has been so great for many yrs. Be sure to bring a change of clothes, because the grill hood exhaust doesn't work well, and you will smell like the grill
Okay Vaca Jay. I’m giving you the second place that does a menu on the napkin dispenser. Whaleback. Sagamore, Massachusetts. $9 fish and chips. Bring the dog.

Yo wasn’t that place awesome or what!!! What a fantastic episode
@ yeah I’m def taking my girl there next time we go to the Aquarium. It reminds me of a place in Seattle called 5 Point thats been around since 1929

The stores in Medford and Mt. Holly are not bars but they're open 7 days a week.
From Monkey Bread to Donkey Cheese Steaks Va-Ca-J and family covers it all!!! You never know where these guys will pop-up next! Great video!
Good video, even with the ole guy once again slobbering all over that poor steak sandwich and Vac Jay honoring himself.😂
2 sammies for the win 🫡

You guys are on your way to become utube super stars well deserved 👍
The wonder years playing….not what I was expecting in Donkeys lol
Hahahaa glad I’m not the only one who picked up on that
10-20 years ago, unless you were blind, dogs didn’t go into food establishments.
u are a celeb alot knows the routine some watch

I might have to come across the bridge to try one of these 🧀🥩🥖 🤤

By the look in her eyes, Ellie the "B" looked like she could have demolished a whole sandwich by herself lol
The seasoning that they use is top secret they mix it upstairs in a locked room nobody knows what's in it
You gotta do the schnitzuel haus in weights town seems like a good spot for a video
If you want your to-go french fries to taste a little better later just throw some napkins on them so they don't get all soggy
Ellie the b wants some.the dog tax.
“Steak and Cheese sandwich”
Is there such a thing as eating a sandwich "Upside down" ?
Donkey's has been so great for many yrs. Be sure to bring a change of clothes, because the grill hood exhaust doesn't work well, and you will smell like the grill
Unpopular opinion - i think it tastes more like a hot roast beef sandwich
This place and the fries and cheese steaks sandwiches look amazing, too bad it's in NJ. N.Y. and NJ are places I tend to stay away from.
They allow dogs in a restaurant it's unsanitary will never visit
@@christophergeter2941 lol this is funny they have been around for 81 years without your business… I think they will survive 😂😉🤷🏻♂️
