I have never seen an all star game where the rookie is double teamed, face guarded and the obvious focus of the defense on every play. The US Olympic team obviously felt Caitlin was the best player on the other team that they had to stop at all costs. And she still cooked them with 10 assists. Anyone watching this game had to be amazed and mesmerized by her play. They all know she is the future and the future is now.
I'm gonna miss Catlin during this break...but she needs this.

Agree - they pick her up 94’ and she and Boston make her and the rest of the Olympic team look like groupies standing there watching them cook all the way down the court for a lay up. Best highlight of the night in my opinion.

We all are addicted. I'm going through CC withdrawal syndrome. Counting the days. Roughly 24 days til she plays again. This is crazy. Use to watch 5 minutes of WNBA then change channels before CC. We need CC anonymous, like AA anonymous to get help when we need it lol

CC’s awareness is different. Sure she planned to leave assist record with Sue but guessing CC would have liked to match it. In Q4, she got 10 with Reese, throws to Bonner for missed layup, subs out 5:42, subs in 2:48, 0:30 passed to Gray with only enough time for late shot clock 3, Gray fumbles, then CC guarded against hard or plays off ball for remainder.
She can break it another year no problem at all

CC is unreal. Cannot wait until next year when she has an actual off season for recovery and training.

Spot on. Matt Ishbia, Mercury owner said in a podcast that he wanted Caitlin really bad. He is a go getter. He traded half of his team to get Kevin Durant to play for the Suns

It is interesting to measure the tenor of the comments so far. I have just endured Katelyn Tuohy addiction, withdrawal, and now, temptation, as she has just emerged as an elite pro track athlete. This harmless pastime is an addiction, but it can be managed, if necessary.

@@cathygregory3443 Same here. The problem is I think I have to watch CC play, or watch a video of her before I get important things done. Others have stated that they have even called in sick from work to watch CC play. That's some real addiction

She is learning to take it slow. This is what Luca does. Moves slow and methodical until the cut then blows by. If you go 💯 all the time and you are not faster than everyone like Chennedy they adapt. Selective speed/skill is where it's at. Emmit Smith perfect example.
She's been doing it for literal years.

She's exhausted. Been playing 40 min a game since Sept.
Adjustments. Her shot isn't off by much in actuality.
She needs her legs back after rest all good
Been in the gym to much trying to build muscle. Stresses and tiers the body out. All strength training or muscle building should be done in the off season. Her body is out of balance. Hopefully the break will help.
Unlike with what she did at Iowa, CC has had to work on other aspects of her game. She’s trying to develop a mid-range game, fine tune her half-court passing, her defense. I’m sure she’s not practicing logos 3’s near as much anymore. There is only so much time to practice and her focus is split up more than in college. That’s the price of being an all around player. I’m sure everyone can admit that her game has evolved from the seasons start until now. Her scoring has become secondary, by her own admission.
