We live in a society of instant gratification...which has caused many to have a minuscule attention span! I personally appreciate someone who is willing to take the time to show detail and to educate. I am almost 70 years old, and I am still on the learning curve!

One of the many things I like and admire about the Hilz creations is that Chad progresses quickly, but he doesn't rush things. It's totally amazing how he gets himself out of trouble and creates something truly masterful, Thanks for sharing and doing the excellent bideography

Chad shows that you just need a few tools to do a job. He breaks it down and makes it simple so that anybody can do it if they follow his instructions. Jolene is wonderful with the video and sound.
    Thanks Chad and Jolene!

The Plymouth Savoy is coming along very nicely. Chad is working his magic with the sheet metal. I really appreciate how he explains the process. Jolene is doing a really great job with the camera. Fina is doing important doggie stuff in the background. She needs a hug and a treat.

Yes, it's very easy to critique others. I think it's because they don't understand that Chad is simply showing how things can be done using basic tools on a budget. Not everyone wants to spend 80k on an old car. This is for the people who want to say I did that and just have fun.

Hi Chad and Jolene, I sympathize with you and your struggles with "Double-Clutching". It took me a long time to learn as well. If I may, can I offer a couple hints? On the upshift I notice that you stop at neutral. It would be better to make this shift as one motion, while keeping the Clutch movement in synch ( simply try to time your second clutch action with your action of going from neutral to the higher gear. On the Downshift, I believe it is better to simply wait until you stop and then go directly to first gear, skipping the gears in between, but if you really need to downshift only one gear, then pause between gears is good, but the throttle also needs to be involved. The trick is you need for the gears to be spinning close to the same speed in order to make a smooth shift. That is done by pausing in neutral and then applying light pressure against the lower gear while gently pushing down on the throttle. When the gears are ready to mesh it will just slide into the lower gear. Really, using the clutch is optional with this action, but it does make it smoother some times.
It is obviously hard to describe this in words without a demonstration, but I hope it helps a little.
    Be Blessed, Glen Harman
