Thanks for the ride down memory lane. I lived in Bayonne from 1979 until 1990. I was an 80s kid (I'm 56 now), in Bayonne. It was the best time in my life. My first job was working at Hendrickson's Corner as a dishwasher at age 15. And yes, they do have the best burgers, I ate many of them while working there😊
Your old video got a lot of views because you probably had 1,000's of seniors from Toms River watching it. My parents are from Bayonne and they shared your video with all their childhood friends. They loved the video. Just shared this new vid with them a few minutes ago. Keep up the great videos.
9:24 pm thank you for the nostalgic drive! I graduated BHS ‘59 Bayonne Nursing School ‘62 Lived 19th St. Ave.A last house before the Bay. I loved living in Bayonne. My fondest memories. Loved going to Naples, the best pizza! I now live in Virginia.
Great video. I, myself never lived in Bayonne but both my parents grew up in Bayonne. We visited often and it was like a second home to me. Broadway has changed since I last visited about 12 years ago. Brings back many memories. Frank
I was recently back in Bayonne visiting with people I used to work with in the 20th Street Shop-Rite, which isn't there anymore. The town has surely changed with all those apartment buildings going up everywhere and all the businesses east of Avenue F. Thanks for the tour.
Yes the town has changed alot in the ten years I’ve been gone. I don’t remember a Shop Rite on 20th street. I always remembered the one on 26th and Ave C which is still there and the 4th st Shop Rite which is now a BCB bank. Thanks for watching! I appreciate it.
I’m much older than you, so I remember Uncle Milty’s very well. We called it First Street. My dad worked at the General Cable plant down there. We lived on West 28th Street, a block from St. Henry’s.
My grandparents would talk about Uncle Milty’s everytime we would take a drive down 1st St to see if any ships were passing by. Thanks for watching! I appreciate it.
@@JerseyNickMoto ah .. I've got a album of Simon and Garfunkel. And on the inside cover there is a picture of them standing and it looks like those kind of homes..
Hey Mr Nick.. this was very good! Great tour guide you are. I see a clean very decent place to live and grow up in. Not even a friggin gum wrapper in the gutter! No spray paint anywhere. This is evidence of the good folks who live there..no wonder i can feel your pride when you show your old town 🍻👍🏻👍🏻
I think I counted 3 redlights you ran lol. Lots of pizza places or parlors as you called it. Where is all the traffic, that's all I ever hear about is N. NJ traffic. We have more than that here. Ps clean you windshield 😅 be safe brother. Does the corner square deliver 😅
Have you been away from Jersey that long that you don't know that those lights are just suggestions?? There is no more traffic up here, they all moved to Tennessee......HA!
ITS ON THE WATER IN BAYONNE!!🗣️🗣️

So different than houses ..v Indiana . .
I can imagine. The house that I grew up in is known as the “Bayonne box house”.

I’ll be honest, it looks better on camera than it does in reality but yes, it was a great place to grow up. Thanks for watching!
Saw the old Big Apple Sports Bar. City Hicks had our debut show there 10 years ago
Yes the Big Apple has been gone for awhile now. That’s cool, I didn’t know you guys debuted there. Thanks for watching!
Good video. Can you possibly do a drive around on the east side of Bayonne. Much has changed there for the better. Thanks!
Ok. The next time I am there I will try to do that. Thanks for watching!
Sounds like a town to be proud of ..👍
