Absolutely f***ing brilliant review, wonderfully edited. Made me properly LOL, because you've correctly summed up the pomposity of corporate marketing bullshit -- shame really because it is a nice little car, as you've noted.
Haha, the people falling asleep bit is hilarious!
Subscribe? Nah m8, not enough parcel-shelf-throwing in those videos! ...just joking, love your reviews! By far the most entertaining part of my week :)
Top notch mate 😎
The cool people doing stuff was brilliant, I actually enjoyed this review
Quality review mark thumbs up if you have read this 🤣
Brilliant review as always Mark
This is really good looking, nothing wrong with it! I wish they had either hybrid or electric options.
Nice review Mark. I still think Seat didn't find its niche , as it supposed to be a sporty brand of VAG -and then they messed up and made all sporty cars in to Cupra brand - so they are under performing against its in-house competitors in sales. Its a descent proposition for anyone that wants a car in this class for sure - with some trade-offs .
What trade offs?
I've done all of them, the ibiza has NONE. Even sound db at 70 mph is at 0,5 db vs the polo or A1, or the fiesta.
What I mean to say is, there is none. None for kit, pretty much none for dynamic points (you get trade offs in comfort and handling in all of them and I actually think the fiesta sucked in non-ST models.
There is no room for trade offs in the modern era. You CANNOT have a car in which there are obvious shortcomings. The market, the reviewers, youtube everything will point it out a million times...
Point out what you found as a trade off.
What I can think of, which doesn't worth of the price difference is the roof lining is not as soft as the vw in better versions (not basic ones, in basic ones even the polo has a hard dash) and the audi A1. That's it pretty much. But, the soft ones fall from the heat and require mending...
By the way there is only one of them that has soft inserts on the door made of fabric and that is the seat on the FR and excellence trims. The others do with that whole one piece of shitty hard plastic they all use up to the octavia. Small details that differentiate each car.
I'd like to see the new fabia though seems interesting on the inside. Pricing is terrible on the scala though.
@@81giorikas nobody cares
@@z00h If you wouldn't care you would have watched your wife groping the mailman instead of replying.
@@81giorikas and breathe.
@@81giorikas Obvious cost cutting on stuff You don't see until You look for them , for example the boot and creature comforts - no false floor option and as it supposed to be "sporty" brand in the same line there are much more stuff making Your life easier In Skoda - as it is supposed to be more towards space and family option.
So to make its offerings inside the VAG they made differences more or less obvious to some, in hope the buyer will not notice or the stuff in each brand and that will be enough to pull You off any competitive brand offerings towards VAG camp. Thats what i meant on trade offs - none of them is perfect, it all depends of what are You looking from the car.
The best review that I have ever seen. Greetings from Tlaxcala, Mexico.
Thanks Luis. Appreciate it. Mark. :-D (Greetings from Newcastle, England)
Great clips of the audience!
I’ve never watched a review where I have laughed so much! Legend
Not sure the designers were at work the day they facelifted this , or was it VAG saying don't spend any money we are still massively in debt.
Great review as usual and the benny Hill bit had me in stitches
The review you done of the Ibiza previously persuaded me to buy one.
115 DSG Xcellence Lux. Almost all the kit you would want and a very enjoyable drive. An annoying bug with the infotainment system and the lack of a solution means I wouldn’t have another Seat however.
Great car though. Still killing it with the reviews 👌
Thanks mate. Glad I could help. 👊🏻
"An annoying bug with the infotainment system and the lack of a solution"
Do tell, might help others know what to look out for.
Infotainment is better now
I kid you not, I was watching this in a Levellers t-shirt. Great review.
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 Benny Hill Classic, couldn't stop laughing 👍
Grew up watching Woollard on Top Gear. He was a very good presenter.
This is a great fun car, certainly better than a Citroen equivalent, lol.
VW is getting better and better on there production line...love anything with a touch of German engineering 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
The good thing for them (as well as BMW) is that no-one cares to search for trustable reliability statistics on the cars they sell.
Nor do people think about the cost of repairs, before they have to bear it.
Great review! Lots of Benny Hill lols! Car looks dated and won’t age well imo… 2012 mk3 Leon launched
Top top top content
You're doing great!
Youve done a couple of pre face lift reviews is this because you get better leasing deals from the manufacturers to get the last stock out the door?
It's just because I'm working through cars that are popular with us, and sometimes the timing works out this way. :) M.
Skoda Fabia doesn’t share the same platform as the Polo Ibiza A1
Looks 10 years old already. The car, not you Mark,
Good luck to it once the new Skoda Fabia arrives.
I was hoping for a serious review, it was some jumped up kid trying to impress us with gimmicky bits of film, jumping back and forth with very little content, managed to get through five minutes of it before giving up.
Jumped up kid? Thank you. You've made my day. Lots of love,
Mark, 41 years old. x
@@vanaramauk You're very welcome. When you get to my age (70), anyone under 50 is still a kid!!
Will you ever consider doing any serious reviews on cars, or you just like your style and carry on with it?
There's plenty of other car reviewers to choose from. Choices .. Choices... You don't like this style ? Hop Along Cassidy
@@Dirty44harry1 I "hopped along" about a month ago!!
“King great.
Strange that this review makes no comment on the elephant in the room: why launch a new car with fossil fuel only drivetrain? With the increasing restrictions on driving in cities, these cars will be obsolete soon and that will be reflected in depreciation. ☹️ There is a big gap in the VW range between the old e-Up triplets and the ID-3. Seat needs a GTE version of this supermini which offers electric daily commuting and sporty driving at weekends. 😎
This donny is a fucking crack. Great vid
A car with a motorcycle engine, umm ok then. Where were the cats?
10th!!!!!
The cat did it for me...
Worst review ever.😉I came for cats.
To much buggering about, I'm gone
😢
Away, Ray? Nay bae, stay!
@@marknichol8167 You've really done it now 😆
