    The biggest mistake in my experience is to use the cleansing oil with wet hands or on a wet face. It's not going to clean anything at all.

    Hii just wanted to say that its been proved that johnsons baby oil has very simiar properties/ingredients to normal cleansing oil, just make sure to follow up with a gentle cleaner afterwards

      It can remove makeup but it’s not effective. Due to its ingredients like mineral oil, it’s highly comedogenic. I wouldn’t wanna risk my pores getting clogged.

      Gurl, try the papa recipe cleansing oil or kose softymo speeding cleansing oil.
      It's quite not that pricey. 😁 Beware, when you buy online look for the authentic shops with good reviews not fake reviews.

    i bought this centella cleansing oil and it's just terrible for sensitive and dry skin.
    a couple of seconds after application, my skin just started to burn and itch. after i washed it off, i saw that my skin was irritated and the next day my skin just broke out.
    if you also have sensitive skin, be careful w this cleansing oil

      Everyone’s skin is unique. What may not work for you doesn’t mean it doesn’t work on others. I have dry sensitive skin and prone to skin barrier damage. It works well on me. But then again what works for me, doesn’t mean it works for everyone

      Yes I do oil cleanse even if it’s just sunscreen. Normal cleansers can’t get remove sunscreen completely

    I've heard alot of people breaking out from cleansing oils and saying they break you out and clog your pores, I really need a cleansing oil to remove sebum but I'm terrified if it breaks me out since I already have acne prone skin😿

      The biggest misconception is that if you have oily skin or acne prone skin you can’t use cleansing oils. False. Cleansing oils are for all skin types. Yes you may breakout with cleansing oils. Everyone’s skin is unique. However you must also double cleanse properly. My bf has acne prone skin and ever since he started double cleansing, it cleared his acne. What can you say right?

      I have oily skin and i don't like using oil cleanser either. Most of the time I use micellar water , but when I want to deep cleanse my pores and blackheads I need cleansing oil so just buy a lightweight ones, don't buy the one who has coconut oil or other 'heavy' oil that's very comedogenic.

    Can you confirm if double cleansing process needs to be done every night or it should be like two or three times in a week?

      It is done every night if you wear sunscreen or makeup daily. Only do it if you wear both. If you don’t, then it’s not necessary. You can do it once a week to get a deeper cleanse

    could johnsons baby oil be used instead of the kose speedy oil? they're both mostly mineral oil

      I would avoid mineral oil as it highly pore clogging. The formulation of baby is different as well so I don’t think it’s as effective as an actual cleansing oil. The moment I knew Kose speedy oil was mineral I stopped using it even though I had no problems with it.

      I think I’ve mentioned in the video you have to emulsify the oil cleanser with water then rise off then go in with a second cleanse with a foaming cleaner

      No a BIG NO. They are not cleansing oils. Cleansing oils are formulated to emulsify upon contact with water so it washes off easily leaving little to no residue. Coconut oils don’t do that

      You can use any oil cleanser of your choice and any water based cleanser of your choice. But some oil cleansers are not as effective. Find one that suits your skin type and effectively removes excess sebum and makeup

      I've used it. I lather it on my eyes and then wipe it off with a wash cloth or a cotton pad (followed by a facial foam wash). The baby oil really melts waterproof eye makeup for a quarter of the price of popular melting balms/ oil cleansers in the market.

    i feel i have a duty to warn any people with acne prone skin that oil cleansing (no matter the oil cleanser you choose) can make you break out horrifically. its basically luck of the draw i suppose, but if you notice a breakout, just give it up.

      Everyone’s skin is unique in its own way. If oil cleansing doesn’t work out for you, stop using it. If it does, continue to use it. My bf has acne prone skin and incorporating oil cleansing has cleared up his skin.

      It’s their bestseller so they shouldn’t. I think it really depends on the availability. I mean it is popular. I just checked they’re in stock and having a sale up to 50%

      Yes! That’s why you’re supposed to do. Oil on dry skin then adds water to emulsify. Then rinse and go in with second cleanse

      I’d say a gentle cleanser is fine, but for me when I use sunscreen I like to go in with an oil cleanser bc otherwise it doesn’t easily dissolve with my regular cleanser. As she mentioned, oil cleansers dissolve dirt and dust off the skin.

      I do not recommend. Warm water melts the oil better. Put oil in ice cold water it freezes the oil. Imagine this scenario on your skin. It will clog your pores.

    Don’t use the Anua one or softymo one if u have acne prone sensitive skin. They broke me out horribly. I would use the skin1004 one instead.

      Everyone’s skin is different. I wouldn’t recommend the softymo one cuz it has mineral oil. Anua has just released a sensitive skin version of their cleansing oil which I’m loving at the moment!

      No you don’t. If cleansing oils do not work for your skin, then you can use micellar water. And make sure to go in with a second cleanse

    I think there is no need to warm up cleansing oil. only cleansing balms needs to be warmed up to melt it

      Nope it is not the same. Cerave’s is a water based cleanser. Key word “foaming”. Anything that foams is still water based. You need a cleansing oil.

      @@jasmineflowerable idk i had like shots of Vit B12 and i was also admitted to the hospital for high fever after that i started having breakouts im not sure yet, i have exams so after exams, have to go for checkup then ig will know more
