The New Whittlesea Glass Recycling Bin Rollout

- Hi,
Today we have a I video I was not planning to upload but kindly Jack Him collected footage of the New Whittlesea City Council Glass Bins. Residents will receive an information pack on when the bin will be delivered and when it goes out and what can go into the 120L SULO bin. The bin will be collected monthly by JJ’s with a brand new fleet of trucks to start October 1st when the bins will be emptied.

my council uses 80L Mastec for residential houses and 120l Mastec for commercial buildings or residential houses upon request, our ones go out once every month, nice vid
my council also got rid of the dark green lids on the rubbish bins and replaced them with new red ones, they used Sulo and waste master, we got a Sulo on our Superior-Pak 120L

it will be interesting to see if other states follow with the 4 bin system like they did with the cash for cans scheme (started in 1970s in SA and now every state has one)

Roll out will be done during August and September so look out for it.

is it confirmed that they are rolling these out?
@@northerngarbo I’m not sure, I just saw new on it that they are rolling it out in 2024 if the trial is successful
