I'm in newbie gain territory, so someone could use that to invalidate anything I say... however, here is what I have to say: I have been doing things via the basic principles of Mike Mentzer and found it to be working excellent for me. I'm natural, 36 years old, doing 1 set to failure and beyond per muscle group wherever possible. I do upper body one day, legs another day and have 6-7 days between muscle group workouts. I'm showing gains, which is an obvious must, but I also find that the intense-and-infrequent model works for my schedule as a busy self-employed dad and also works amazingly in terms of motivation - because infrequent workouts means that by the time fully I'm recovered, I'm also chomping at the bit to work out again. If I stop growing, I'll change it up for something else, but in the meantime, I'm loving it. Mike is the reason I started lifting and Sam is someone I watch everyday just to keep working out (and cardio!) in my consciousness every day.

It was fun seeing the extra clip of you helping your brother with assisted reps and I agree that it is a game changer as you can push beyond failure with some extra help with the reps too.

Raw egg whites can be fully digested but are less easily broken down compared to pasteurized egg whites, which are partially denatured and therefore more digestible. 24:54
@@bigmike6766 Pasteurized eggs have been warmed up enough to kill the bad bacteria and germs. When it's heated up from the pasteurization, the protein is a "little" bit more easily absorbed. But not all the protein in the egg.
When you heat food up it de-natures the protein. If you think of protein as a string with squares all along it that is bundled into a ball, when its cooked it unravels allowing the bonds between the protein chains break more easily. It means more of the protein is available for digestion. Cooking eggs will always be superior to drinking them raw :)
He needs some work, but he's young and will likely get there. Obviously no where near enough size now for open, but for classic physique yes. He looks great since starting this bulk. I thought he was looking a lot smaller and pretty flat during the cut, now he looks big again. A lot stronger too.
About the egg whites, I don't know why you would think they are not completely digestible. According to studies in the National Library of Medicine they have a complete amino acid profile, scoring 100 in the DIAAS (Digestible indispensable amino acid scores), and in rats the Egg White Hydrolysate retained the nutritional value of proteins and was quickly absorbed. I would need to know about the specific brand and product you're using, but according to the DIAAS it should be 100% or at least 99.something%.
