    Ey! This tutorial was exactly what I was looking for. It's just amazing. Waiting for new parts! As a suggestion, could you make a video setting up an advanced attack skill? I mean, like jumping or dashing and doing something else with paragon character and animations? It would be fantastic. Regards from Spain! Good job!

    You are EPIC! thanks for all the great info and tutorials. As you stated once, everyone has a different way of doing things but there is no need to reinvent the wheel. that is something more tutorials need to follow. I love how you explain everything and give the projects for download. Legendary as always.

    BEFORE WATCHING THIS VIDEO
    Go to his new repository
    1. Download zip
    2. Copy AGR from content folder to your project
    3. Open your project go to project settings-> gameplay tags -> add a new gameplay tag table list with DT_AnimationTags.
    4. Do what he does in 25:30 (delete all this) in the “AGR_CoreAnimBP” just search it..
    5. Retarget the base mannequin animations to the agr character and do what he does at 23:05 to retarget idle and jump animations OR delete those 2 nodes
    6. At “AGR_CoreAnimBP” go to anim graph and connect the 2 disconnected nodes at the lower right
    7. Watch the video

      Trying to follow but i dont get what youre refferring too. Step 3, retarget the starter content 3rdperson view base mannequin that comes with ue4? tried that, stuck trying to retarget idle and jump, because im not seeing whats on the screen, because youre telling me to do it before following the video, so he has paragon charcters etc half set up, i dont,

      @@3sgamestudio what exactly is the base mannequin to retarget to the agr? the thirdperson character isnt showing a retarget option, is it a skeleton of that or something i need? And step 5 i cant find the jump animations you edited, you clicked a compile thing that took you to it, i dont see it in the anim graph anywhere

      @@flyingmalkie4346 i wrote with caps "OR" delete those 2 nodes you dont need to retarget. its just to clear the errors

      yeah.. you must make your animation tags yourself. it doesn't come with examples.

    everythings good but i cant seem to find... ARG animations master component...? Didnt realize i had to download it in the info but the link doesnt work... Could you please update the link so I can download and continue the series? please and thanks...

      hi, in newer videos there is a new download link for dev.azure repository. HOWEVER I strongly suggest goigninto markeptlace AGR PRO plugin - installing it and following the agr pro tutorial series videos. they are easier to follow, work better, got better performance. and are after tests of few thousand people using the components giving it final form :)

    7:55 I can't follow due to after you add landscape. I could drag the cube out but I was not able to edit it, UE didn't allow me to. Pls help thanks!!!

    I'm using version 4.25 and I can't find this AGR component

      its called now "agr animation master" - the core component. check my recent videos on updates. I moves some bp's from folde rto folder even. pleae try to use the newest version.
      I made a branch called 4.25 - that has all the updates (literaly updatesd yesterday) and I will try to continue updating both 4.26 and 4.25 at the same time. :)

      make the sword bones not visible ;) or finding the swords material (its separated) and making material visible by ID ( tick NOT and input proper id)

      its called now animation master - and its in the agr folder / blueprints .

    Shit man, this is awesom, but i have problem with you asset's from git, i don't have all of you plugins, and when i load you clon project, in all folder, i don't have any file (at all) just a blunk project without any BP, or other stuff.
    Can you help me with that? I really want to look closely

      For plugins all are forever free to download from marketplace except for electronic nodes - just disable it. Its editor only. Its the one that makes the bp lines straight ;) regard the repository i will check what it could be and try to help! Github got some bullshit free limits i havent anticipated. I might have to move repo to visual studio online

      I made a video on importing aseets to a project just for you :) uploading now. Also make sure your git has LFS installed. Use github client, or I personally use source-tree. free and effective :)

    As much as I'd like to say that this series is helpful, I can only say the opposite... You claim that you don't have any pre-made files however you have entire folders and plugins that you don't mention. To attempt to get the animation master component, your link is not working so I went to the second part, attempted to get the file by clicking several times.
    Once that was done, i went ahead to open the project and was forced to add a lot of plugins, one which no longer exists and the second which was paid.
    By finally opening the project, i was welcomed with tons of faild to load messages. The item storage kinda works out of the box but of course, files were missing from character as well and yet, the animation master is still not there...
    I would like to learn from you but you need a lot more practice of telling people from the beginning what they need.
    I didn't even knew that I needed that animation master or to download your project.

      The project contains both examples as well as components. Mamy examples are in the tutorial FINAL state. And many refer to tutorial materials that were from marketplace (animations models sounds) - so are not included. This project however got always working examples, components work and is a good reference to do your own setup. Its not a ready to publish game like many people think.
      Plugins used are free or ilrelegant and purely cosmetic and can be turned off (electronic nodes)
      Please try the new plugin AGR PRO - its easier to work with and is answer exactly to problems you mentioned! :)

In no second of the video you even mention the plugin yet you were expecting people to know... Sorry but i'll pass just because you don't give enough information to consider your offer

      Official marketplace. Posted today. Also new tutorials for it. You can achive same thibgs but easier, more performant, and even tutorials are shorter and more accesible :)

      @@3sgamestudio well, it's pointless how long or short are the tutorials if you don't cover everything. At the end of the day, tutorials are to teach people not to showcase your product. If I don't have all the knowledge in this field and I am looking for a tutorial, that's for me to learn. If you just toss your product not even telling people that your tutorial is for your product, that's not good business

      check new tutorials then ;) problem with old bluepirnt version is that the components were in development while preparing amterials. functions changed names, things in final version changed functionality. now in the new plugin version - using C++ allows me to lock away content I dont want users to change, no longer depends on project gameplay tags, and is not bound to single skeleton in example content. :) try it! I would like to see opinion on it by someone frustrated with BP version. any point on what to improve or what you would like to se in the future are welcomed!

    Your repo gives a 404. The AGR_AnimationMasterComponent doesn't work, neither does the AGR_AnimationMaster. I'm half an hour into the video to find out it doesn't work. Dislike.

      You mean the repo from git? Please use one from dev.azure.com.
      Its the one up to date. Proper work with the components require knowledge of animations and blueprint on internediate level. Thats why my tutorials are called advanced. Sorry you got discouraged already :(

    Great Work Mate Keep it Up ..... I Tried to Download the Github repository But When I Open The Project it Asks me about the electronic nodes plugin so i choose to disable it but when i open the project i dont find any of the uassets no character nor AnimBP ... despite that i found the in the content in the explorer but they're not appear in the editor .... do i have to get the electronic node plugin ?

      Neah its not the plugin. Make sure your git has lfs installed! In new video there is new repo download link. From new provider

      @@3sgamestudio i think it's not the Plugin as u said cuz even the maps not loading in the editor ..... i tried to clone your repository using the command (git lfs clone URL) in git bash and it cloned successfully but the same thing happened when i opened the project i don't know what is the problem ... sorry to bother you

      git lfs pull
      I had to force push LFS files to the new repository in dev.azure. It should work now.

    Also, how can I add AGR_Animation Master Component to my character. It doesn't appear in my list.

      It might had changed name in newest update. Type „agr anim..” and you find it. Remember it will be on bottom of the list as its not a scene component and has no transform.

      Copy the repository and what you need isjust the agr folder from it. There is a video on how to add it to new project fast. And another one how to do paragon character setup
