Okay, WTH happened??? Everyone in all other parts of the world always HATES Hershey's chocolate, due to the preservative taste. Even the TRYers have taken the piss, complaining about the taste, multiple times. Now, the TRYers are saying they like the Grinch kisses? Is this some Mandela effect stuff going on? The visceral dislike of American chocolate flavors comes from not having a point of reference for the butyric acid in it (which is a byproduct of the lipolysis process originally used to extend the chocolate's shelf life over long delivery distances). If you don't have it in your chocolate, the other places you'd have tasted it are in vomit or sour milk. The "seasonal" Reese's PB treats have more peanut butter. I like those slightly better than the regular ones.
