Hi, please let me know what kind of paste you are using. It is better to cover the pieces you are not using right away with plastic to avoid drying out e.g. plastic food baggie or cling film

@@DeborahHwangCakes bakersville sugar paste I used for shoes bt while joining back side cracked how to avoid as I didnt used any powder.
