- This a a tour of the Hilton Airport Hotel (now Clarion Hotel Copenhagen Airport) located just across the road from Copenhagen Airport (Københavns Lufthavn) in Denmark. This hotel is no longer a Hilton Hotel and has since 01 April 2017 been re branded as Clarion Hotel Copenhagen Airport. The tour includes the lobby, the complimentary "Early-Bird Breakfast" our King Guest Room located on the 7th floor and the bathroom which included a separate bath and shower.
Nordic Choice Hotels is one of the largest hotel chains in Scandinavia with about 190 hotels in Scandinavia and the Baltics and over 13,000 employees. The Norwegian company is 100% owned by Petter Stordalen through his company Strawberry Group. In 2006 Torgeir Silseth became CEO for the Nordic Choice Hotels Group.
Our tour / review of this airport hotel located right opposite Copenhagen Airport begins with a view of the hotel building from outside. We then move inside to the lobby and check-in area where viewers get a view of the Scandinavian Design inspired decor and furniture. We give viewers a view towards the airports Terminal 3 which lies just over the road and can be reached via an indoor passage connecting the hotel with the airport building over the road. We then get a view of the bar, restaurant and leisure area before taking the lift to our King Guest Room located on the 7th floor of this 12 floor airport hotel. The viewer is then given a tour of our guest room and has the opportunity of viewing the typical Scandinavian design of the room. The room features a kettle for self service complimentary coffee and tea, a well stocked mini-bar, iron and ironing board, safety box (that fits a laptop computer, a king size bed, a working desk, a 32 inch television and a clock radio with alarm and radio among other things. The room has a fantastic view overlooking Copenhagen Airport from where you can easily view aircraft arriving and departing the airport. Our tour then takes us to the bathroom which features a basin, toilet and a separate bathtub and a separate shower area. Apart from the normal amenities (for one person only / strange as we were two people checked into the room), the bathroom also offered a hairdryer and a bathroom scale to guests. The video ends with the complimentary "Early Bird Breakfast" which is offered to guests who have to leave very early. This excellent service provided by the hotel is not the "official" hotel buffet breakfast which starts later in the early morning. We have to say one more time, Hilton Airport Hotel Copenhagen, your "Early Bird Breakfast" is an Excellent guest service.
We only had one issue with our hotel room. We are not fussy hotel guests but we did feel that the armchair in our room had very dirty arms (this can be seen on the video). In the room there is a card that writes that we should contact reception if there is anything we are not happy with... We did not contact the reception in this case as we do feel that dirty furnishings (arms of the armchair) should be something guests should have to complain about, rather it should be something that the hotels housekeeping is very aware of.
Apart from the dirty armchair (arms) we had a fantastic stay at the Hilton Airport Hotel Copenhagen. The complimentary "Early Bird Breakfast" was a service surprise which we had not expected and appreciated it very much. We would most definitely gladly return to this hotel again in the future!

Great video ....Liked this place straight away. Nice touch to see the two poured glasses of sparkling Wine and those Chocs...made me quite tempted !! Your Cameo appearance at 2.10 was something i would do too...lol... I agree with your comment about the Armchair...but i would prefer a better styled one there anyway..it looked a bit shabby. Hi Steve, it is a nice hotel and we really enjoyed the view with a few snacks and sparkling (a must when on holiday). The armchair was indeed a bit dirty, we are honestly not fussy people and seldom complain but... glad you liked the cameo at 2:10, the real one was at 11:07 hehe! Once again, I just cannot understand why hotels and hotel chains advertise (and sell) double room, but only provide one easy chair.
