I live in Yakima, WA and this guy opened up a liquidation store not to long ago, and he buys a bunch of those pallets and sets everything up in the store, and gets a lot of customers, honestly I think that’s the way to go Reyes!!
When I was younger I bought a liquidation pallet from a liquidation store. Don’t do it and use common sense unlike me lmao if it was good stuff they would have put it in their liquidation store.
I have started this business as my main hustle. I have small team in Asia helping me with listings and product research. I have good leads coming and I am able to make good living from it. There is one thing about liquadation which I absolutely agree with you is over head cost but it’s all about volume game. If you have a Better product research and and good database of the products the chances of inventory staying in the lot get minimal.
Making it out at a young age is quite difficult. I started a side hustle at 17, saved up and made some good investments. l'm 28,live on my own and having a good life for myself. Big ups to you and everyone out there trying
I buy pallets. I do not put them together for the customer. I check for the parts. I let them know they have to put it together. It doesn’t affect my price at all and I seem to have great reviews. Maybe you guys might want to try just checking for parts and let the customer build it themselves. Saves so much time!! I always let people know they are liquidated items, so that’s why they are 40-50% of retail! I wish you two the best! I’m sure you will do great whatever direction you will go :)

I've been watching your channel for sometime now and one thing I don't like about it is how you start a business, give it a chance then you drop it and move to something else. I get that you want to make money but in order to make the business grow it will take time and lots of learning. Feels like I'm watching a sitcom show with new scenarios and every episodes is a new thing. I want continuation, a struggle and the learning to unfold. I don't want to watch Seinfeld I want to watch Breaking bad if that makes any sense.
Also a big thing on making good money with these is your location… Were doing this in PHX with two warehouses and were doing 30k a month. Also you need to make it a business with direct links to your site etc, business cards.. Youre not just reselling but building a brand/name.
Lease a warehouse and open up a auction house for your items. As the money grows how hire a crew to assemble the items and grow your inventory to max capacity.
Reyes I love your channel. I been here since the beginning. I will always love listening g to you. Please keep making your videos! Any video I will watch.
Great video Reyes! One tip on low ballers, price higher than what you want. For example, if you want $150 for a table, price it at $225. If someone asks to reduce the price, give them a percentage off that will end up being $150 or higher. That way they feel they got a deal but you walk away with cash in your pocket. That's SwapMeet 101.
Then the no-low ballers people will be reluctant to buy from you 😂…. On top of that, low ballers are people that are unreliable when they say they will pickup …. Just price it a tiny bit over what you want and cut prices on a daily/weekly basis till it sells ..: also, get lots of positive reviews so you get most of your value
My brother started with one pallet, and five years later, he eventually had to get three storage units. His business started growing, but he sells on almost every platform to humanity. 😂
Dealing with pallets looks like it'd be a major pain in the ass plus you'd have to store all of that stuff for who knows how long. RUclips is definitely the way to go for you, Reyes.
Facts, eBay is the way to go for selling liquidation. Tbh I think Reyes would of done better if he started selling stuff online, and found a new supplier. I buy liquidation and BP pallets did not impress me at all.
I have been doing this for 2 years and go nowhere with it. But I learned that you need to go bigger. Start off by buying individual pallets and the profit you get from it keep saving it until you can by a truckload of pallets and then you will be creating a real business. It may take 2 to 3 years of reselling single pallets but once you can save $10 to 15k then you can resell a truckload and make up to 50K then buy another for 15k then you left with 35k then make another 50k and then your making money
you should make another video on junk removal! Make an update video on Sonoma strong hauling and see how much they have grew their business!! Will benefit both you and them. Will be a great video that will bring in lots of traffic!

This is not hate, but when you launched this series on pallet flipping, it seemed like a a desperate business venture (not saying you needed to do it, but something that wasn't realistic to work). Maybe I'm different than the client base you're after, but I'm not going to some random dude's house to buy this stuff. Furthermore, you admitted you kept a lot of the good items like bikes that would have sold which makes no sense when the goal is to flip things as fast as possible (and to draw customers in as they may purchase something else they like when they get there. We called this a "one more sale" in retail). Good luck with this, but I think your time is better spent on things that people really want. This ain't it. There's money to be made, but what's the opportunity cost? If I were to guess, the cost outweighs the opportunity.
The issue is you do not know how to run a liquidation business. To run one you need a warehouse and you need to run warehouse sales each month or some people do it daily. Plus the items do have to be priced to run out the door otherwise no one wants to buy liquidation at a retail sale price. There are plenty of people that know how to do this right and have been doing it for a very long time. The number one issue is as you stated time, time, time, and more time. Then you get into buying or leasing a space and all the expenses that go with that, hiring help and as you did checking each piece to make sure that the item is complete.
Don’t give up on the pallet business, maybe add other team players that might have more time and has the gift of negotiating and selling. Buy the pallet, inventory the items and distribute the items to independent sellers on consignment. Items would sell faster.
I absolutely love your videos, bcuz of your encouragement I now owned 4 gumball machines, 4 locations and getting ready for the 5th. Quick question. Do you still hve your gumball machine business?
With all the cheap knockoffs being made and drop-shipped, I don’t see it being a successful business in the long run. You’d have to invest a lot to keep good inventory, and good inventory on those liquidation pallets can be a hit or miss.
Well you should try flea market booth that would be the only way to sell that stuff you got to rent a flea market booth like around 250$ well it might be higher in California because of way things are over there but its the better idea
Suggestion: Maybe shipping clothing, and tools that are new are easier to sell, no? Clothes need no time to set up except for packaging, and fit in shipping boxes easier. Profit can be made from bigger designers like levis, nike, and adidas, no, perhaps. Also, tools are sellable in brand new boxes if they are coming from the warehouse, im assuming. So if you want to setup bigger income on bigger items. Just my thoughts. I think setting up stuff and waiting is what made this frustrating but then again, i havent done this. As someone that has experience in liquidation, I completely agree. Liquidation is basically gambling, yes you can make money but it’s not a get rich quick type of business. Lots of hard work and hustle.
Why not just post it for the price everybody else is posting it, and then when people want to haggle down they can haggle it down to i.e. 200. Instead of you giving them a heavy discount and then they expect a further discount lol

Any thing sold on the streets is half off that's factzz

Why not just post it for the price everybody else is posting it, and then when people want to haggle down they can haggle it down to i.e. 200. Instead of you giving them a heavy discount and then they expect a further discount lol
I hate people who negotiate 😅
