If you stimulate hormonal behavior it is gonna think that that person is his mate, and will be aggressive and non tolerant towards others. Those cockatoos scream also a lot when their "mate "is away or out of sight. Most people don't know this. you shouldn't stroke the back, belly under the wings, and tail feathers. only neck and head scratches
