I have all the manuals for wheel horse from 1955 til 1965 plus all the attachments. I have been collecting wheel horse stuff for 25 years Great little machines. I have Rj 58 suburban 400 and 704. Thanks for sharing
This was awesome! I am the proud owner of 5 wheelhorse tractors. They date from 1967 - 1988. I sure wish I lived closer I would have loved to have spent a day here at this show. I live in Western New York State by the Genesee River.
You should sign up on wheelhorseforum.com. We'd love to see them. Great people. We drove down from Maine for this gathering and are hoping to get there again this year.
My Honey and I are the ones that came down from Maine. That was a great show. Thanks for this video. We're hoping to get back down there again this coming fall.
I've seen a couple of your videos and actually found a down pressure bar in my stockpile thanks to you. This meet n greet is mostly the folks from wheelhorse forum.com. Awesome bunch of people.
@@ebinmaine I'm on that forum, haha! Some of those guys from Red Square saw my videos and gave me a shout out. Nice bunch of guys. I still go on Mytractorforum.com from time to time, I started out there, then youtube came along. lol
We have a wheelhorse 965 I'm thinking, this tractor has so much pulling power it's so unbelievable. My dad bought a wheelhorse out of South bend Indiana. Right now I'm hoping to get our old wheelhorse running and painted. Cool video 👍👌
Hey I have a question for someone who has a Sears suburban tractor. I just got a new belt for my tractor and. It's still like I have to pull back on the clutch to keep it tight. Should I go get the next size smaller belt
First see if you have an adjustable tensioner some where. It may need to be tightened. If you don’t have an adjustment then maybe you bought the wrong size belt.
That KV181S Kohler 8hp. Vertical shaft engine nearly bankrupted Kohler, Wheel Horse, and Bunton. Kohler designed it with a crankcase vacuum operated oil pump. Worked great when theoil was full, but let the oil level get close to the add level and it stopped pumping enough oil. Wheel Horse and Bunton were the only two companies to use that engine when it was introduced in late 1968. Wheel Horse eventually replaced most of them with VH80 Tecumseh engines to satisfy the customers that blewup more than one of the KV181S's. At least the V7 tractors and 1970 V8 tractors came with Tecumsehs.
I had 6 wheel horse back on the day in Westchester NY . , Mohegan lake to running Gravely 8123 8:14 no sorry 816 B John Deere 110 Round fender tractors back in the day and a snapper rear engine rider and about 10 Kohler engines in the basement
frank lucas I had gotten a b80 for free but someone has took the governor off and blew the engine in trying to find a block then I’ll redo it nice like my other wheel horse
i have a 1969 commando v8 the 8hp kohler on its side is a legit motor. very bad idea by kohler and wheelhorse. specially the electrical on that kohler.
It doesn't harm anything to start them on a full throttle it's better than a low throttle less lugging on your engine where do you guys get these stupid ideas
Do you know of a used parts store that has a deck for my Toro Model# 73545, serial # 8901329, 1998 520 Lxi, deck (44" cut) deck model # 78357, serial # 8901772. Appreciatively, Mark Saracino

Any help finding a left axle for a 520H I think the Woodruff key is worn out?
Grubb Grubb sorry I don’t know where to get one. Maybe check eBay. Could a machinist cut a new key way 180 degrees off from the current ?
Love the vid, I'm the proud owner a 1054a. Wheel horse is a true tractor not this china crap stuff out there today.

Whatever, if you want to start your engine at 3600rpm before the oil gets slung/pumped around, that's your problem. 🤦♂️
