This beat is sooooo magical. And even though it’s just a dance video it’s probably my favorite from twigs. It just feels so candid and carefree.
This song feels like her trying to capture the same sound she tried on holy terrain but more focused and honed down on and I love it
This beat is masterful on another level actually but not just that it's the way that she riding it I'm a songwriter and that's like a pocket where every songwriter wants to get to she snaps on this song definitely her best one I've heard yet I wish she made it longer something about when I hear it I just want to hear that hook another time at the end but it goes off my heart sinks

@@soggynoodle3015 there really isn’t a difference, I mean music is music. I think artists labeling it a mixtape gives them more freedom to just do whatever though. Her regular albums are not this long that’s for sure.

There’s just something so so so iconic about how when the Security Guard closes the door, to when Twigs breaks into the dance routine with her dancers on the grand staircase that you get chills down your spine. And the way they start the dance sequence and how they set the tone (like this it too professional for TikTok), is just so chefs kiss 🤌🏽✨It’s like you’re being pushed off from the reality of the real world, and spit directly into the fantasy that is this music video. I love that visual contrast 🥴

not to connect everything back to trauma but the power and idgaf attitude of performing where authority said they couldn’t and persisting to finish the video in a fun way is the most brilliant natural real depiction of not letting shame or any commandeering voice control her anymore and it actually made me tear up.

FKA Twigs is far more talented than people realize. Or at least…than people care to admit. I’m sold on the music video too, its chaotic (in a good way) but also kinda psychedelic at some points. We are truly witnessing a very unique artist before our own eyes. I hope someday one of my own mixtapes can generate as much buzz as this one has!
