Brake Light Bulb Replacement 2006 Mini Cooper

It's Super Easy To Change These Bulbs, only one nut and 2 clips.

Used Philips P21 for the brake light bulb.

I appreciated the video and will comment on the clips... The Drivers Side I used my RIGHT hand for lower clip and LEFT hand for upper clip...upside down..LOL Once I got clips, 5 minutes to replace bulb, snap back in, and re-do nut. The Passenger side was all LEFT hand...tricky yes, as those clips are tough mudders. Thank you for video.

Thank you it helped a lot I have a 2006 mini Cooper s John works. Got them out in about a half hour The right side or passenger side was a little more difficult because it was tighter. But thank you for the info I got it done

Yea, I just did this, it’s WAY easier to just use your hands to hold the clips together and pull out the circuit board with the bulbs. Mini made this a 10 second job including removing the panel and snaking out the bulb board backwards. No tools needed, no need to remove the housing and not even necessarily to disconnect the electric.

No need to do that just take off the plastic light bulb holder. Spent 20 minutes for the clips but i didn't had any movement in it. So the short answer is take off the light bulb holder
