I couldn't agree more with you! Time is my all time favorite ELO album. I absolutely love Secret Messages and Balance of Power and of course Discovery as well, which actually has my all time favorite ELO song on it, Confusion! I still have all my vinyl records, but no record player, so now I listen to all this great music on my phone paired with a great speaker!!

The band ELO is one of the biggest forgotten bands for me, it's sad to write. They are similar to the beatles. But their style and momentum. Number of albums released. They don't deserve to be forgotten! Jeff Lyne, you are a true Genius. Thank you, stay in my heart. To this day, I have all your albums on cassettes.
He is not forgotten, he still tours in sold-out Stadiums, Arenas and Festivals. He has received all the awards, his music is in movies, commercials and has hundreds of million of views and listens on social media.
What would go along way towards getting ELO back into the spotlight light would be for Jeff Lynne and the former band mates to kiss and make up. Maybe do an old fashioned VH1 where are they at reunion, out out an album, or do the retirement tour. Jeff I still love you but please drop any pretense and do this.

Jeff lynne is a great musician, he knows how to play everything true, But how he "hears" the parts in his head and then puts it down on vinyl, analog, digital or whatever he thinks will best represent the best sound, is amazing to me. I've been an ELO fan, a Jeff Lynne fan to be more exact, since I first heard Telephone Line on the radio back in 1977. it took me on a journey through all the ELO albums from that point and the back catalogue. for me, Stranger is one of his most beautiful compositions and I really don't get why this song wasn't ever a huge hit.
