There's lots of persona fans (almost all of the persona 5 fanbase tbh) who don't have a playstation and they knew joker from smash and were really interested in their game, and are still waiting for a port.

Nintendo isn't doing full directs any more. The last non-mini direct was 2019 I think.
They always release a lot of trailers when games come out/are coming out soon.

Poor nintendo players...they keep getting sequels to games that don't have the rest of the series on Nintendo like as if Nintendo players will already understand what's going on they did the same with kingdom hearts they released the latest installment of the series melody of memory 2 months ago and I don't think Nintendo players had any idea of what was going on like sure it was a game that was mostly a recap about what happened in the pervious games but melody of memory is basically a HUGE spoiler of the rest of the series and especially if someone beats the game cause the ending is taking place right after re:mind and I guess Nintendo players were purely clueless
