I actually really like the Kindred Lord Broadmane version more against the current meta, as it grants your 1 mana drains the ability to kill the huge followers this meta is so full of. Kindred acts in that deck, as you very rightfully said, as a lightning rod for removal for Broadmane to do its work.

For folks who are curious (and maybe Bae isn't aware since he "surprisingly" ordered Catalogue first at least twice in the vid): 21:57 Catalogue doesn't need to see the spell played to meet the "played last round" condition. As such, a better play is likely to open with Go Hard on Poppy to make Pale Cascade more awkward for the opponent and also get an opportunity for more info on what they do next. (Could change your play from Catalogue to e.g. Vile Feast a Poppy that didn't die.)

Fun fact, Withering Wail did drain in the closed beta.

An idea for a deck that might be fun is Taliyah Annie. Taliyah’s attack could level ravenbloom very fast and taliyah also copies ravenbloom. Tybaulk increases taliyah’s attack damage a lot, and noxus can pump taliyah and give her overwhelm to end games (day 2)
It’s a cool idea but youre not really levelling taliyah unless you play the landmark package which this deck doesn’t really want to do. And then your sacrificing not only a champ for taliyah (who doesn’t do anything other than copy ravenbloom which is kinda just ok) and shadow isles for shurima so you lose all the drain and control tools
I was also thinking using some other pieces of shurima for more landmarks to level Taliyah like roiling sands or possibly mid range units like endless devout to block and make up for the lack of drain as well as create a landmark. I’m not gonna say it’s as good as the shadow isles version, I just think it’d be fun to see Taliyah to do like 10+ damage with her attack skill

Another fun tybaulk deck idea! Karma Kennan! Using godwillow on tybaulk, go get it, or dawn and dusk, then attack with leveled kennen and karma on board to completely wipe enemy units, or drop a giant decimate that karma copies! (I made a post on the lor Reddit with a 24 damage decimate :)

funfact. some go hard interactions.
using Senna you can use Pack your bags.(5mana) for the price of 1 Go hard(1mana).
if you string them in fast speed.
but be careful. because Pack your bags transforms back to Go hard. it gets fizzled as it loses its targeting. if you string pack your bags then go hard.
example using 4 Go hard in one string.
Go hard> Go hard> Pack your bags> miss.

Lost a round of the gauntlet to this. He went double landmark into double go hard and I realised this was different....
I would add one copy of the 3 mana spell to resummon a dead unit

This is big brain. I was thinking about using the landmark that summons the strongest with Tybulk, but the spell makes way more sense with catalog. Ty

U love the deck i play it with 3annie 2elise and 1kindred it tells in matchups with more sloww paced decks
The Kindred Senna version feels really good
You can flip pack on the stack with Senna and the play cast change and it's crazy
Can't you just full swing at 18:48 for exact lethal ? (Elise + Spiderling + Tybaulk overwhelm)
actually wouldnt even be exact lethal, spiderling would have had 3 attack so 2 over lethal

You have to try this deck with Broadmane. He really help against Bard Galio and all the other degenerate "spam big dudes" decks. I'm on 3x Wail, 3x Broadmane.
But not the Mogwai version. Annie Elise is the way to go, maybe 1 Senna

This looks like one of the most fun decks to come out of this expansion--it's just a shame it struggles so hard against thralls and Poppy, given those are...everywhere right now. Alas.
Up to 3 Scorched Earth should help a lot with that. Most other decks don't even have access to landmark removal.
Scorched earth plus the landmark that copies spells shuts Tal + Liss down completely if they don't top deck multiple rite of negations.

I was enjoing Mogwai's version, but then got frustrated because of the Catalogue's bug that affected me three games in a row 🥲 (it won't duplicate negated spells even though it says spells played)
