Anyone else have those apple peelers/corers that would clamp onto a table? You'd put the apple on some prongs, line up the peeler, and crank it with a handle. It would then spin the apple and peel it in a spiral. My sister and I loved it when we were little, and our mom would spiral the whole apple, so it was a funky way to eat them. I feel like the one we had was a fairly older device and broke, but I'm sure modern ones exist. Might just get one myself, if they're still out there. Edit: It seems the machine cut the apples into rings. Guess I misremembered. Edit 2: Actually, this is essentially a spiralizer, before it it was named so.
