It's Rosé (Rose ay), Rosie is a name she goes by too and Rosanne is her actual name...Speaks incredible English? well it is her first language as she is from Australia
@@abramrexjoaquin7513 she actually attended Korean school on Saturdays growing up in Melbourne and she was heavily involved in her Korean church as well, so she had some formal teaching before she left for Korea nowhere near as much as a typical Korean student. She has said in interviews that her vocabulary was not expansive and outside a domestic setting she didn’t know a lot of words. You can even see in an episode of Blackpink House where she didn’t know the difference between the words for “farm” and “factory” and was with Lisa who didn’t know either. In another situation in a later episode Lisa was correcting her grammar when she made a mistake. She is definitely more comfortable in English.
I was trying to find a comment talking about this but I guess everyone is focused on the "she's a native English speaker" BUT, I want to emphasize that these songs were written by our talented girlie, Rosé herself
English is her main language. Although she is ethnically Korean, she was born in NZ and moved with her family to Melbourne, Australia (at age 7) where she lived until 15, when she beat out 800 other hopefuls at YGE’s Sydney audition. She then moved to Korea to begin her training for Blackpink, but didn’t speak Korean very well at first (she is now fully fluent). Both her solo tracks are in English as well as most of the covers she sings. Although she has now spent the greater part of her life in Korea, she still identifies as Australian.
Yeah nah fkn aye, of course she identifies as Aussie. That's Aussie pride for ya mateys. It sticks and she loves the country that crafted her childhood.
Rosé is an old soul, that's why she's so good at everything hehe You should check her song and MV for On The Ground, subtitles on, that song is so cool, and the lyrics are GOLD she really stands as songwriter in that one
Bro rosé just hits different! She's even different from the others! She can literally sing any genre ! I hope one day you'll reaction to all her covers on sea of hope and on her RUclips channel! But first check her other song On the ground!
Out of all the solo work so far, this is my fav! This song and video are INCREDIBLE. She sings with such emotion and the way the video is done adds to that emotion. Hits home for anyone who has love and lost.
Rose' is absolutely my favorite, in a super group of superstars, like you said, they are all outrageously talented. But I see 3 unbelievably skilled gorgeous females and then I see what looks like something from another dimension OUT OF THIS WORLD creature. NOBODY looks like that, NOBODY talks, moves, sings like that. Whatever she is,.. I've just never seen anything like it. When I see her, when I hear her she registers as otherworldly.
IMO to appreciate her silky vocals, nothing beats her rendition on "Slow Dancing In A Burning Room" on Sea Of Hope. I believe the writer of the song send a guitar to her to show his appreciation on her performance.
John Mayer... The funny part was that he responded "gorgeous" on social media. I'm pretty sure he was talking about her vocals, but then he could just as easily been commenting on her beauty.
Rose' was born in New Zealand but her family moved to Australia when she was still tiny. That is where she grew up and she considers herself to be Australian. She speaks English perfectly, if you don't count accents as a problem (some people do have problems with accents). Lisa loves Rose's accent and makes fun of it sometimes (light-hearted banter between chosen family members).
Check out “on the ground” and her covers! She does an amazing job with her covers. She has official studio covers of “Eyes Closed” by Halsey and “The Christmas Song” by Nat King Cole. But there’s also a lot of videos of her just sitting and singing with an instrument in her practice room or on tv shows.
yeah she has a beautiful voice, unique voice, and the fact that SHE WROTE THIS SONG, SHE WROTE HÉR OWN SOLO SONGS WHICH IS GONE AND ON THE GROUND. SHE'S SUCH AN MULTI-TALENTED GIRL. I just really hate how yg waste their talents (Blackpink).
Yes, you pronouce her name correctly Ro-zay. Her first name is Roseanne (stage name Rosé). She is english native speaker (australian). Thx for ur reaction
Rosé's A side is "On The Ground". Jisoo does not have a solo project yet, but "Yuki No Hana" is a Japanese cover she performed during their Asian Arena tour, I believe at the Tokyo Dome. There is no captions, but her vocals are well, AMAZING
She has to have a good understanding of the english language to have a bar like "Eight in the morning, hatin the morning." Great lyrics to go with her vocals. You should also check out"On The Ground" by her.
She was born in Auckland, New Zealsnd then raised in Melbourne, Australia which explains her perfect English. Also try to listen to her title solo “On the Ground” which is about being humble to herself 🫶🏼😢
She definitely has a indie vibe style. She also co-wrote her solo music. Sidenote: the tub is the one she was laying in and crying in the "Love Sick Girls" video.

It's a voice so fiendishly mesmerizing that she can sit in an airport lounge turn on her camera phone, sing into it and download your new FAVORITE SONG EVER!!! If Dr. Goldfoot were trying to create the ideal siren to hypnotize the whole world, he might say, well she should be a combination of Asian and Australian girl, with a voice so Amazing that no one can resist her.
As she should, have perfect diction and pronunciation of the English language 😂 Rosé is Australian. Born in New Zealand from Korean born parents and migrated to Australia when she was 7 years old, studied and lived there until she was 16. She went to a YG open audition because her Dad (who is an international lawyer in Australia) told her to, aced the audition out of 700 people, went to South Korea to become a YG trainee in 2012, and lived in South Korea ever since. 😁🖤💗 Blinks love Rosé Aussie accent when she speaks English 🤭 Btw, Rosé has another song called On The Ground and she has tons of covers. Rosé also has a RUclips channel Rosesarerosie, please check out her some of her covers there 😊
Rosé has the song On The Ground too. Also, if you search for Rosé covers there are plenty to choose from. (Slow dancing in a burning room is my personal favourite)
She was born in New Zealand and grew up in Australia. English is her 1st language lol. I know you mean well and maybe you have no intention of this but idk it just comes across as a bit condescending yknow 😅 Most of us Asians grew up bilingual or trilingual. But I get what you mean. Her Aussie accent just sounds so good when she sings, so precise, yet also so soft. Also, her stage name is pronounced /row-zay/ btw like the wine. But you can also call her Rosie (that's what her family calls her. Her actual name is Roseanne. but they just say Rosie for short).
Blackpink's main solo work: Rosé - Mini Album called -R- which has 2 tracks "Gone" and "On the Ground"; Jennie - Only has one solo song "Solo"; Lisa - Mini Album called Lalisa which also has 2 tracks "Money" and "Lalisa", and on top of that she has a collab with DJ Snake, Ozuna and Megan the Stallion called "SG"; Jisoo - Will be releasing solo music as well, most likely next year but her biggest solo work yet was as the lead actress in a K-Drama called "Snowdrop" and it's amazing. She was supposed to sing a song for OST of that show but she declined the offer because she thought it would distract the Blinks who would watch that show because they would play the music in key moments and she wanted the focus to be on the story and not on her singing a song. She has written korean versions of popular songs like "Clarity" and "Habits" tho Also, you pronounced Rosé right the first time, it's Ros-ay not Rose. Her name is Roseanne, nickname Rosie, stage name Rosé and korean name Chaeyoung. And her english is so good because it's literally her first language xp she is fluent and has the cutest Australian accent.
I love Rosé for a reason, not just a Rosé fan. Masyaallah Tabarakallah Rosé is talented. the aura comes out, if it's beautiful it's relative. • Masyaallah Tabarakallah Rosé is very talented = Rosé is good at playing the guitar, good at playing the piano, let alone singing. Don't ask Korean and western singers, many notice and want to collab with Rosé, but until now her agency has not given permission to collab. • Rosé is also good at writing songs, she even wrote her own solo song, even producer Ryan Tedder once said, Rosé and Jennie are indeed talented, he made songs with Rosé and Jennie several times but until now it has not been published, not yet in ACC by his agency. • She is also good at dancing, even his position in blackpink as a lead dancer. • Rosé is the main vocal in blackpink and is nicknamed "the golden voice of korea" and has a vocal unique. • Rosé is also good at cooking, even before the pink venom era Lisa said on vlive when she wanted to eat something or wanted to make food she always came to Rosé's place, said Lisa herself. • Rosé is also good at making cakes, even her sister's birthday, she made her own cake until Rosé was mentioned by her older sister on Instagram. • She is also good at drawing, look at the pictures, it's beautiful, never disappoints. • Rosé is also good at arranging flowers, on her birthday his mother, older sister and those closest to him he always arranges his own flowers, in his apartment he also arranges his own flowers. Rosé MasyaAllah Tabarakallah is mature, gentle and kind, and her aura radiates very well, she is the definition of the complete package, Masyaallah Tabarakallah. Even now I wonder why anyone hates her, even Rosé is very kind Masyaallah Tabarakallah. Rosé also never bothers other people, why so many people hate her.
Rozay is right, but the members call her Rosie. Her vocal color is one of the few unique ones I have heard in the KPop industry, which makes her one of the top vocalists out there. She has two solo songs, and both are in English, which I think is the best creative decision for her knowing it's her mother tongue. It's when she could express most emotions.
She pronounces English correctly because she was born in New Zealand and moved to Australia when she was 8 years old. She just returned to Korea when she was 17 years old
There are few voices in this lifetime that can reach inside of you and shake your spirit. Whatever happened between a promising audition and her debut a scant few years later, must have given her full reign to invest in her passion for music. All we know is that when she landed in Korea, she couldn't she was shy, mousey & could not speak the language well. No one would talk to her (they were all competition) and JENNIE came up to her,.... to tell her how everything works & what she should do. Jennie said you should come to our room & sing all night with us,... and by the way,.. bring all your stuff,.. because YOU are staying with us FOR-EVER!!!
Yeah, Rosé... the diva from down under... You should also check out her 'On The Ground' official m/v and live performance on the Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. Thx.
Stage name:Rosé (like how you call the wine Rosé) Full name: ROSEANNE PARK Name called by family and best friends: Rosie Korean name: Chaeyoung Park Born: Kiwi (til 8) Grew up: Aussie (til 15) Ethnicity: Korean Consider herself as a foreigner or non-native Korean. She has another solo ON THE GROUND (her main track) She also does many covers. Check out her YT channel as well as the variety show called Sea Of Hope. Hope that helps.
She pronounces her stage name as /Rosay/. Her English name actually is Rosanne and the other three ladies of BP call her Rosie or by her Korean name, Chaeyoung, or they call her by several nicknames ('Pasta' is one of those nicknames). In the fandom, she is also known as Foodse' /foodzay/ because she's a big eater. Rose' doesn't vlog that much and they are not always muckbangs, but we KNOW that she eats well. Rose' also has a really cute rescue dog named Hank. :) Rose' is a foodie like JiU of DreamCatcher is a foodie. JiU vlogs but those videos always seem to just sort of devolve into muckbangs. She can't help it.
You should check out Lisa's "Lili films".... it's her dance performance videos. And all the Blackpink girls speak multiple languages. Lisa speaks 8 languages!
It's Rosé. Her real name is Roseanne Chaeyoung Park. She was born to S. Korean parents in Auckland, New Zealand. At the age of 7 or 8 years old, she relocated with her family to Melbourne, Australia, where she grew up until age 14, when she moved to Seoul, S. Korea, to begin her career in K-POP. The reason I mention all of this because, your next song/MV you should react to is "On the Ground", the A-side of her debut album, and "Gone" is the B-side. Remember "Roseanne" when you watch "On the Ground". A couple of details: (1) remember the bathtub with black ink. Recall this when you react to "Lovesick Girls" sometime in the future. (2) You miss the most important/meaningful scene this MV. Go back and look for the scene in which there is a glass window with a bullet hole having a paper tape with the word "love" on it, flying off it. It's probably 1 second long. I think It summarize the whole story of this MV. Have fun.
Many of the Blinks do not care about Rosé they even ignore her so she has not so many fans for some unknown reason nearly all care about only Lisa and Jisoo. Jennie and Rosé are mostly criticised or even purely hated by the fans of Blackpink. P.S. I do not know more these are only mentions in other videos that I summarised
Both Rosé and Jennie learned English in their childhood. Rosé moved to Australia and Jennie moved to New Zealand, they were so young, so they grew up with the language. That's why they're so fluent. Edit: Rosie has another solo song called "On the ground". And Jisoo... Well, she said in an interview she still doesn't know what to do with her solo song, she is unsure of even work on something like that. So it seems like I'm having this display name for a long time, lol.
Jisoo doesn't have a solo track yet. Rose (on the ground, gone), Lisa (Lalisa, money), Jennie (Solo). These are the solo tracks you can check. Or you can still watch the documentary on Netflix as I recommended last time.
Jisoo hasn't released a solo yet. We're supposed to get it soon, but YGE isn't fast with bringing out new BLACKPINK content. To be fair, the girls are super busy between the music, the touring, the modeling/ambassadorships, endorsements, and side projects. Rosé has put out a bunch of covers that you should check out though. Several of them are on her RUclips channel Rosesarerosie. For Jisoo, she just completed a side project. She was the lead actress in a K-Drama called Snowdrop. Each episode is around 90 minutes (IIRC there were 10 episodes) and available on Disney+.
Jisoo's solo should be released soon. But they are getting ready to go on tour in mid-Oct so I would think the release will come between now and mid-Oct.
It's pronounced rosè but her band members call her ros-e She's also Australian so she speaks fluent English they all speak fluent English but especially her
Jennie had her solo debut in 11/2018 with the song/MV "Solo". It broke many records. It is still breaking records. It is pretty "sick" (in a good sense). Lisa had her solo debut on 09/09/21 with "Lalisa" (her real Thai name) and "Money". Talking about breaking records! These two songs/MVs are really really "sick" (in a really really good sense). Jisoo has not had her solo debut yet. Because of the up coming world tour, don't expect to see/hear it until 2023. But she has sung covers of many songs. And they are really good. Talking about song covers, Rosé has done many many song covers in English, and they are amazing. They are "must-listen" performances. But, that's for another day.
It's Rosé (Rose ay), Rosie is a name she goes by too and Rosanne is her actual name...Speaks incredible English? well it is her first language as she is from Australia

In the fandom, she is also known as Foodse' /foodzay/ because she's a big eater. Rose' doesn't vlog that much and they are not always muckbangs, but we KNOW that she eats well. Rose' also has a really cute rescue dog named Hank. :)
Rose' is a foodie like JiU of DreamCatcher is a foodie. JiU vlogs but those videos always seem to just sort of devolve into muckbangs. She can't help it.
OH man there are so many blinks.. anyone hurt these gurls better run run run..
I love her solo song On the ground
Check out “sure thing” cover by them it’s liiit
U gotta do react 'on the ground' she is A.M.A.Z.I.N.G. 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
One of my favorite !!!!
I'm here! Yey! Rosé! 😍😍😍
On the ground is a masterpiece 🔥
You should check out Rose's covers on Sea of Hope
You should check out Lisa's "Lili films".... it's her dance performance videos.
And all the Blackpink girls speak multiple languages. Lisa speaks 8 languages!
this is a b-side song, not the main single of her solo, the main one is "On The Ground" you should check it out
Please react to "On the ground" too! You'll love it for sure 😌✨
React to on the Ground
That tub is a reference from “Love Sick Girls”
Please react also to Rosé solo "On the ground",the song and the MV are beautiful
Ro-zay is her stage name. English name is Roseanne Park. Korean name is Park Chaeyoung. Her friends and family call her Rosie.
Finally thank you 😍
Many of the videos of the group, and the members', contain nods to other songs and vid's - for example, the bathtub here and in Lovesick Girls.
Yeah, this is the polar opposite of the ROCK-se' we got in Pink Venom, right? lol Seriously though, Rose' is just MADE of MUSIC!
Check out "See u later" from Blackpink. I believe there is a life version of it...
Jisoo doesn't have a solo track yet. Rose (on the ground, gone), Lisa (Lalisa, money), Jennie (Solo). These are the solo tracks you can check. Or you can still watch the documentary on Netflix as I recommended last time.
React to Rose Gone in sea of hope
Her actual name is Roseanne but her family and close friends call her Rosie. However, professionally, she is Rose" (like the wine).
Jisoo's solo should be released soon. But they are getting ready to go on tour in mid-Oct so I would think the release will come between now and mid-Oct.
On the Ground should be the next to react, coz its the title track of her Album, Gone is Bside. 💖
I subscribed because you reviewed this video
Please react to "on the ground" in the next time
Rosè's main song is on the ground pls react to itt
4:16 "i like that little dress" , yes a f**king 28,000 $ little dress 👗
It's pronounced rosè but her band members call her ros-e
She's also Australian so she speaks fluent English they all speak fluent English but especially her
Jennie had her solo debut in 11/2018 with the song/MV "Solo".
