Around 38:00 Kartik mentions that he defined his own "custom regions", naming them RegionA & RegionC. How would you go about creating those? I noticed that you can drop components onto them as well, or is RegionA & C just out of the box also? If it is possible to create our own custom regions, is it possible to create them with multiple columns where you can drop standard and custom components onto? Thanks for sharing the knowledge.
You would need to go into the developer console and write up the html and VF for each of those regions, then save as components so they become selectable and usable. Remember to set the component tag as so it shows up in your lists
The title of the video should exclude the word "better". I was hoping to see something beyond the very basic community implementation. If I knew that it only going to be an introduction to communities I wouldn't spend the time watching it.
