@@RhynCrafted never worked in resin I’m guessing the tenderils are so delicate the resin can stick them flat? So many flowers or anything with meaning would lend itself to this, from bluebells to snowdrops and “that flower that looks like grapes” guessing there you have a lot of other natural elements that would also work. Lovely work. I like seeing the process, I’d love to get into metal smithing but not the room or the pennies lol!
Thank you! Resin is so much fun- I totally recommend giving it a try! It’s a great way to preserve some of the most delicate flowers in stunning detail! I am so lucky to be completely surrounded by gorgeous flora! X
Wonderful project! For those that don't live where this flower grows natively, Pearl Everlasting (Anaphalis triplinervis) is a perennial that can be grown in zones 3-9. Seeds can be purchased on line.
Hi. What size sanding paper do you use for the silver cap to get it shiny? Thankyou for sharing. They are beautiful. I have just started doing resin pendants and use bezels which sometimes get scuffed. I'm a real beginner. I use dried flowers and uv resin. Thanks.
@@margaretmiddleton7513 Hi there! For the outside of the cap I use 1000grit sandpaper before polishing. The cap is solid sterling silver so as long as your bezels are a solid metal (not plated) you can sand and polish them! I also use bezels and UV resin on my other pieces- it’s a learning curve but once you have it, it is so much fun and a lot faster!
So delicate and beautiful!

Thanks!
Beautiful, I wonder could you do this with a dandelion seed you know the ”floofy” one you get in the uk, it’s so intricate and would look amazing. 😊
Totally- I have done dandelion like that a couple of times, very tricky but so worth it if it comes out well!

I just looked up pearl everlasting. And wow! It’s so pretty! Will definitely work wonderfully in a globe!
👍👍👍👍🙋♂️
Beautiful work! Where do you source resin from in SA? Thanks
Thanks. I buy from AMT. They have a branch in Joburg and Cape Town.

Your work is really technical. Thankyou for the reply. My bezels are just plated. I must try not to mess over the edge.😂
@ haha it’s hard to not be messy with resin but it gets easier with practice! 🌸
These are beautiful!❤
