@Jellybean_Craftz color expresses all emotions and helps evoke the emotions as well. That is actually why I subscribed to you lol. I watched on of your videos and you spoke of how you love to play with colors, etc and I instantly knew I was going to love your art!
It's gorgeous! All those colours and textures mix so well and that final topcoat made them pop even more. It might not be as pink as you wished but I'm all for purple! 💜
Id be staring at the clock more than when I was in high school haha except this won’t be for the bell to ring , but in awe of the magnificent beauty ❤🎉🎉🎉. Very beautiful
I really appreciate your lovely comment! It means a lot to me that you enjoyed the clock. Have fun with the paint pouring - I can't wait to see what you create!🫶
Okay, I thought that I loved the last one, but this one is absolutely STUNNING💜💓 Girl, you have out done yourself for sure!!! Thanks for sharing, I have to get me some film from Little Window's and some paints and make me a clock that pretty!! Hugs & Love -Beverly
Wow this is gorgeous! I might give this a go on a smaller scale as I am also very stingy with my supplies haha. Awesome video thanks so much for sharing xx
Hiya Mary. That's a cool-looking clock. I haven't seen a technique like this before but it looks great. I know why the polyurethane resin cured like that. There was probably some moisture that you didn't completely get off the back and that's what caused the PU resin to react like that. It doesn't like moisture and will bubble whenever there is water and moisture. Maybe allow your piece to fully dry out on future projects naturally to save this from happening again. All the best, Diane xx
Absolutely gorgeous Mary! I always have issues with my silicone mats doing that weird thing when I put a soft squishy mould on it, kind of thought it might be something to do with the difference in water content? A lot of my mats are now ‘buckled’ like that but I’ve found if I put something between the mould and the mat (cling film or something) it doesn’t happen ❤❤
I really appreciate your input! It's always great to hear how others tackle these common issues. Your cling film solution is a fantastic idea, and I’ll be sure to give it a try!🫶
I am in love with your work! I have a question. Hope not stupid...he he he...Can polyurethane, the one that turns white be colored? If so, what part of the mix, A or B and a ratio? Pretty please with sugar on top! You are brilliant! You inspire!
Thank you so much for your kind words! Yes, you can color polyurethane, but it's best to add the color to Part A of the mix. The color will be a lot lighter.. a lot! The common ratio is about 10% colorant to 90% resin, but it can vary depending on the product. Always check the manufacturer's recommendations for the best results! Hope this helps🫶
I love the outcome of these kind of designs but I just don’t have the patience to do all the steps - I love this piece it’s so striking to look at! 🩷💜💛

I find my mat distorts like that if I've used a softer type of mold rather than heat xx

The silicon mat was a result of the heat tool .
Right? It’s like the silicone mat said, “I’ll take the heat, you take the credit!”😜

To many colors. To muddy. To dark. Not my cup of tea. But A for effort. 😊
Thank you Anna, I will be making a few more; thank you for watching, I really appreciate it🫶
