We operate on an assembly line style process to speed up repair times for our customers. If we were to wait for the paint team to be complete with their side of the repair before starting to disassemble the old cab, we would be losing 1-2 unnecessary down days and taking up extra bays in the shop. This is why we use cargo trailers to store interior during the process! It also helps that the last parts removed from an interior are the first to install to the next, so the puzzle pieces needed upon install are organized in order.
@@FitzgeraldCollisionRepair The trailers are genius. I guess I didn’t think about the paint department working on the new parts at the same time disassembly is happening. I work in auto body, everything is much smaller of course and time is not that important. If I’m replacing parts on a car, the new parts are usually painted and polished before I touch the car. At least that’s how it is supposed to work.
Unbelievable how good your team is on every single piece of their truck removing and replacing the part so thoroughly
Another outstanding video. What a mind blowing crew. Perfection
Y’all are absolutely rock stars when it comes to repairing trucks I drove Fitzgerald gliders for many years ✝️✝️✝️🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸👍👍👍❤️❤️❤️😎
Amazing
awesome work must have assembly memorized by now
Repair a lot of those trucks back in the day and a lot of fiberglass
We got a ‘17 579 Fitzgerald glider with the 12.7, amazing truck
Hey what’s up bros how y’all doing much love
Better than factory does it
Why not have the new cab fully painted before disassembling the old one? Then just move parts from old to new.
