Anyway, if I lose the 50-50 then the guarantee will be reserved for Arlecchino since she's the first limited pyro mdps to interest me.

Funnily, you can use the levitate from his charge attack as a bootleg version of Wanderer's E skill to get over deep water or up some slopes you'd normally have to climb so he also has some exploration utility.
Or you could just use furina's E and infinitely walk on water...

@@weldonjr321 If you can only have one of them, basically you can't go wrong either way. I would recommend Kazuha for fun, but Neuvillette for help in the Abyss. If I myself could only ever have one, I would choose Kazuha.
@@weldonjr321 Kazuha ain't important at all, since you can just play him in Hyperbloom and do less that 1 minute clears easily while playing bad. This rerun I got his C1 and now I feel like Kazuha is better than HB coz I'm legit clearing faster with Just 3 man, Neuvi, Kazuha, and Fischl, that I was clearing with a full HB team at C0 and even C1. I feel like he is just straight up the best character in the game, at any investment.

About the part him with furina and his draconic stack, i wanna point out that you guys can actually pair them with jean to get the last stack of his passive. Jean ulti apply swirl to the on field character, so if you the enemy hit you with an element, you can actually trigger a third hydro reaction. My team consist of Neuvillette Furina Zhongli and jean

@@dolphin4156 if you only want a shielder, then yeah, she is good (her shield is pretty tanky from what I've heard) but you do get more pros of zhongli bc of his universal res shred. But overall layla is still a good option

As a C3R1 Neuvillette haver since his first banner, I can only say that he's the only reason I still play Genshin.
Also, having him in my Abyss team is the best, 'cause on the other half I can have the most under-leveled and weird teams and still get 36 stars 'cause he just obliterates everything in seconds

Idk why some people surprised neuvillette this strong. He is the playble "dragon sovereign" higher being than archon. So It's not that surprising that he will get special treatment.
It's pretty commonly accepted that lore relevance has little to do with gameplay utility. Fischl or Sucrose (even Kazuha) being so broken for example doesn't have much to do with their lore.
@@madladdie7069 what you are saying is true but archons do kinda get special treatment and they are generally the best at something. i think dragons follow the same path and in future too this might happen again

@@Sanatic14 I like the fact that theoretically absurd abilities are reserved on archon. Zhogli summons a meteor, Ei do a dimensional slash and Venti summons a wind vortex akin to a black hole
It's hard to imagine Hoyo releasing a more powerful Hydro DPS than Neuvillette because of his lore so he'll be the strongest Hydro DPS for a very long time. Which makes it worthwhile to invest in him (and his constellations).
Lore and in game power often differ drastically, but yeah, what ur saying makes sense. Like there’s literally no way any character could trump or power creep neuvillette for the foreseeable future, like you’d literally have to juice up any comparing character’s numbers by like 10,000%, and even then, neuvillette is king in pretty much every aspect of a main Dps (healing, aoe, team comps, etc)
They will, but it'll be difficult to since it's hydro element they usually age very well i.e Yelan, Childe, Ayato, Xingqiu etc, considering even Arle in beta is still weaker than him, says a lot, however I do believe that Pyro Archon will powercreep him

@@Mo_Shadows neither can you get them all, no matter your wishing strategy. Instead of letting pure luck decide what you get, be the decider yourself. Weigh the pros and cons of each character while you save.
The first time I saw Neuvilette, in the Opera Epiclese seat, I just said...

It was the first character I ever wanted to have just purely cause I enjoyed him, both personality and design wise, not for any kit or meta reason...

The man can solo the abyss. There aren't too many characters that can do that at C0. So that says a lot.Unless they stick the consecrated beast back in, I foresee him being able to do so with every new version of the abyss going forward.
The only solos of abyss at c0 i've ever seen are ganyu and neuvi

He has a perfect team with amazing synergy: Neuvillette/Kazuha/Furina/Baizhu.
They basically do double the damage of any other team I've tried.
How is it perfect synergy when the team literally disrupts neuvillete's passive with the second hydro...

Oh hey it's the team I use. You need Neuvi C1, but it's absolutely broken. I've tried a lot of different healers, but Baizhu feels the best simply because he heals a huge chunk team-wide with his skill, making it the comfiest way to enable Furina Q without having to worry about healer energy management.

Tartaglia/Childe has a passive skill that increases all character's Normal Attacks by 1 level, so if you crown Neuv's Normal Attacks, having Tartaglia/Childe on the team will boost his NA to 11 (or 14 if you get Neuv's C3)
I pulled him completely by accident last Saturday (I usually have to do 80 wishes to get a 5* but I got him in about 10 pulls when I was trying to get a c4 yanfei! I previously pulled chiori by accident when trying to get group so I didn’t think this would happen again ). Can’t wait to get him up to speed!

I'm still wavering a bit between C1 and weapon. But since I like to use him with Furina and don't always have a shield to hand, I'll go C1 first and think about whether the 200+ wishes for the weapon make sense or whether I'd rather save up for Baizhu.
As a water dragon main, who has him e1. He is worth it. He don't even need his e1. But trust me he is worth it. Easy as fuck to build, hell his teams are super easy to build as well, alot of people got furina now slap on a healer and a dendro character boom you're set. Hes fun. Hes handsome. He is arguably best character in the game trust me if you like his design he's worth it
also, he can shoot through the wooden (and geo) shields of those mitachurls and i think he's the only one who can attack them through those shields.

R5 prototype if u have furina in team
They're about the same. R5 Amber gives more energy, lowering your ER requirements. Baizhu's Sig gives little bit more damage but less energy. I'd use Amber for ER convenience and also party-heal if you want to run no-healer comp

Little investment in his mechanics, artifact, weapon and he'll do dmg as much as a well built character is crazy strong. Thats why i think neuvillete is a must pull for new players and old players who still doesnt have him, c1 is also a big upgrade over his signiture weapon so if you get lucky or if you want to have an easier team building c1 is better to get 1st

Only plan to pull C0 (lost 50/50 last time) but from all the event trial, he does get interrupted fairly easily and it is quite frustrating. Although I do have Zhongli, Dehya and Layla built, so it is less of a concern, I still despite MHY putting major mechanics behind constellations...
they have to balance him somehow though lol…everything else about him is absolutely broken

The best analogy for Arlecchino I’ve found is that she seems to be around the power level of Hu Tao with more complicated mechanics and stricter rotations

Only pull him if you actually love his play style, so he won't be redundant. I suggest playing him over and over through events or your friends account first. Personally for me, yelan+furina clears, so I have no need for him. Also powercreep exists, no matter how strong he is now, something stronger will be released. Don't feel bad for not pulling him, bro. Stay strong for arle. 😂😂😂
@@nevermore6540In terms of play style, for me I would say Arlecchino is better, and that basic attack, elemental skill and burst animation is absolutely amazing. Still, idk, Neuvi's JP VA and the laser beam is unique in genshin while Arle seems like a polished Hu tao. My indecisiveness is way too much, so deciding is pretty much an arduous task for me. I'm sure it's gonna be the death of me:')
I also have Yelan and Furina and 5 built healers (Baizhu, Jean, Shinobu, Bennett, and Charlotte), so I already have a flex tape for any DPS character. It's really down on the character's play style, character personality, design, lore, and animation. Meta is a non factor for me already having Kazuha, Furina, Nahida, Yelan, and Xianyun to ease my spiral abyss and over world combat needs.
at C0 prototype amber R5, almost 200% CD, VV shred, 34k hp and two stacks of dragonic glory, I'm able to get around 24k per tick, I don't know how you're getting 40k like you say in the "Additional things to consider" section
you answer your own question, you only have 2 stacks of his a1 passives, his 3rd and last stack is the biggest buff
@@RyanCorro Even in ideal circumstances, that wouldn't boost the damage to 40k considering I'd be swapping out a teammate that's contributing a large amount of buffing (furina)
@@RoxasMatheson might not be but you can easily go over 30k+ per tick on 3 stacks of his passive, mine can do 40k+ without vv shred, but mine is c1r1
@@RyanCorro That's still quite a ways from 40k, I just think it's a bit of an exaggeration to say it's "f2p" to get to that level
I can proc 3 stacks at c0 with Zhongli, Kazuha and Fishl but I guess there are some other options for f2p, Sucrose instead of Kazuha or maybe Deyha (or Baizhu) instead of Zhongli

I was saving up for neuvilette for some time and I saved like 13000 primos and 35 fates and I had 73 pity as well but my account got hacked a couple days ago. I sent a mail to hoyo and I got it back today. Just to see that all my primogems have vanished. The hacker just spent it on chiori banner and got max 2 fate points in the weapon banner. And now I have no primogems and no pity going to neuvilette banner😢

Im not gonna lie I had a rough time with some cycles of the abyss while my friend cleared EASILY with Neuvi (I skipped him for guaranteed Furina) but instead I was force to git gud and made it though, our only purpose is to 36* f2p as much as possible since 4.0… now, should I still pull for him or are my worries for him being abyss-powercrep’d in natland justified? I already have a pretty invested yelan,furina,xq, kokomi and even bloody barbara …
pd: idc about gameplay or lore if you give me a physical amber cracked enough for an abyss floor ill take her, clearing abyss is the only reason to play. I get Neuvi can do some floors but do I need yet another hydro toon?

I like all the characters which make exploration easy and with nuevi charged attack i can basically run with unlimited stamina so i pulled for it
There are three types of players. The ones going for Neuvillete or Kazuha, the ones that have been saving for Arlecchino and the ones skipping all of the above and going for idk who (maybe Chlorinde who knows)
You forgot one option: those who already have Neuvillette and Kazuha.
