Wow. This interview was beautiful. It centers on character and self-belief, during which both Malcolm and Adam demonstrated grace, deference, hope, intelligence, accepting challenges (risk), persistence, inspiration, and love.
He was a bit weird on that debate but he was arguing a position that he doesn't necessarily fully hold personally. He's pretty good 99% of the time. Not sure Taibbi is overall on the same level intellectually and he's certainly not as useful, influential etc.
Love it when these two get together
I loved this. Knowing they are friends; I will be checking out the book. Gladwell is one of my favorite living authors!
We've all been waiting for this get-together for don't know how long already! An amazing conversation this is
one of the best authors i have came across this year

@92 Street YMCA: it would be great if you included the date of the event. Thank you.
October 23, 2023. I googled the 92nd Street Y schedule.
Loved this.
😅😂😂 good one ! excellent provocation makes these podcasts more fun as well as a great learning experience
Two must get together! ❤
I like both and enjoyed this, but the real chemistry is Gladwell and Michael Lewis
Perfectionism is increasing because children have the TIME and available resources to perfect “a thing”.
Damn, had to be the longest front porch ever. And once in not a lot in the house.
I can't help but imagine how much more good would have been done if the money spent on all of those monthly flights had been spent on aid...
The biggest influence a parents have on their child’s character is at the instant of conception! It’s genetic!
Glad has a propensity to make universal conclusions from limited information
Word to the wise-people who hawk business self-help are not intellectuals.
What's wrong intellectually speaking with the ideas he has presented?
Adam Grant... commenting on affirmative action.... problematic
This interview felt awkward- adam Grant was off putting in this interaction. I had to stop watching
ok listened to Adam Grant on other podcsts and liked him so the combo here didn't work for me!
After watching Gladwell, make a fool of himself, trying to debate, Matt Taibbi, he’ll never appear credible on any topic.
