    what is the need for -1 in calculation pressure head. Cant we directly convert 20 cm of mercury to ----cm of water?

    When a venturimeter is kept inclined to 45 degrees angle to the horizantal then the reading of differential manometer was 11cm;if the venturimeter is kept horizantal then what is its new reading? If not so give me a reason sir?
