MY WEEKLY CLEANING SCHEDULE (this can vary based on the week)
I usually start my day by doing my morning routine and some of my "healthy habits" • Summer Wellness - Heal... and then I tackle a cleaning task for about an hour or so before I get to work.
Mondays- I usually clean the kitchen, fridge, and do the grocery run. I wipe down the cabinets and disinfect counter tops.
Tuesdays- Laundry day. I start by bringing down all the laundry baskets from around the house. I focus on clothes on this day, and then keep up with the laundry by doing a smaller load if needed later in the week.
Wednesday- Vacuum and mop floors in the entire house, clean toilets, mirrors, and windows. Sweep & dust. Wipe and disinfect bathroom counters.
Thursday- Launder beddings & towels, and put away. Organize laundry closet if needed.
Friday- Organize an area of the house that's become unorganized. Clean out the cars. This can also be a day that I choose to deep clean an area of the house, or tackle one of my seasonal home maintenance goals.
Saturday- Ask the kids to clean their rooms, and check to see if I need to help with anything.
Sunday- no cleaning.

Hey Rachel, maybe one day when you finish using your conventional cleaning products. You could show what diy cleaning products you use for various spaces.
The mattress sounds interesting. I clean my fridge once a week before shopping it’s good to have a clean fridge before placing new grocery in it . I do pass a fast vacuum after dinner due to having three pups.

I separate loads of washing, so I do a white wash then a colour or dark wash, sometimes a pink wash😂 I definitely think it keeps the colours brighter and whites whiter 👍

One thing to mention- when doing a deep clean of your fridge, make sure you know beforehand how to put it all back together 🫣 (I still don’t think my fridge drawers are put together correctly) 😂

I know you like your vacuum but it doesn't seem to be that strong. Really recommend Shark's vacuum cleaners! Really good for a home with animals. I have an old zero double m and all my sisters bought from this series after me (I don't work there or anything haha.. I just really like their vacuums)
@@ainat5136 yeh. I think the cordless ones just aren’t strong enough. It’s good for quick clean ups and ease of use, but I may need to invest in a shark.

Agree. I have the Shark professional. Stick Vac's just aren't strong enough.
I've tried the cordless vacuums too but it just doesn't cut the mustard on our farm. I love my Shark Navigator lift pet vacuum.

I envy the big, spacious houses and apartments in the States all the time, but when it comes to cleaning I am quite alright with our smaller spaces in Europe. That's a lot of work. Does it get dusty over there too? I feel like I can't keep up with the dust sometimes.

I haven't swept in years! I take my cordless vacuum and go over my floors! SO much easier and faster, IMHO! But y'all's reaction when you and Byron undid the mattress was like, WHOA!!! Would love to know how you clean the sides of your fridge when they’re exposed next to stove with all the grease? Dont have a built in fridge but would appreciate any tips!
Dish soap and a scrubby sponge soaked in hot water if it's solidified. Best is to wipe down immediately after cooking.
Do you do the once a week cleaning tasks in one day or throughout the week?
@@noagoldwasser3147 usually throughout the week. Sometimes I will get into an all day cleaning mode, but I typically do something daily to maintain. I created my typical schedule and added it to my description box. Xo

Vinegar? To clean the shower?? Sometimes you need the chemicals to clean where you wash your bits… just sayin
@@lindsayhausmann4262 haha did I say vinegar in the shower? It’s probably because this week the shower was already pretty clean. I use that AP vinegar cleanser as general maintenance to wipe down the shower, but I also use the seventh gen disinfectant spray in the bathroom to disinfect everything.
