I am almost certain this is the only existing footage of this amazing and little known band. I usually even have a hard time finding good info on these guys on a simple google search. I really want their “Seven songs” LP on vinyl but it’s nearly impossible to find. I have a 7” vinyl of “These last days”, and I’m happy enough with that. I usually wonder how Aaron Calvert really is doing after nearly 30 years. I do wish he would come out again and release this beautiful music on vinyl again, and streaming maybe, but there is almost no chance of that happening ever. This band has come and gone, and frankly, to the people that do own one of their art pieces, need to realize what they have in possession, and should never sell it! I was born in ‘01, so I obviously wasn’t around when these guys were at their peak in ‘91, but man, it would’ve been cool to see live in LA. I hope Andy and Jason are doing well also...
There is definitely more (and better) footage up, although I haven't checked for it lately. As for Aaron, have you heard Winfred E Eye? It's definitely not Evergreen 2.0, but it's stellar. I could try (and fail) to describe it, or I could just send you on a listen. You're in for a treat if you haven't heard it yet. And hey, you're still in for a treat even if you have.
not sure if you've found it yet, but there's footage of them playing at the macondo in '94. sound quality is worse than this but you can make out the songs, still a gem.
