I teach 6th grade middle school (math/science) and you've got me hooked! LOVE your videos and I can ALWAYS find something that I can use at my grade/subject level. THANKS!! I have several ELs in my classroom and am going to use the vocab templates for them to create their own "flash cards" to study and learn science vocabulary. Thanks again!
This is a perfect video. Short, full of information and sponsored (you go, girl!). Thank you very much. I´m a desperate new teacher for young learners from Brazil and I am thankful for you and your videos.
A lot of great strategies and fun ways to review vocabulary. I will definitely be using a few of these with my 5th graders as well as buying your product for vocab lessons.
This is my first time looking at your video. I loved it, especially how to use the gif. I will be definitely incorporating this into my powerpoints. Thanks for sharing!
Thanks for this video! I'm planning to really focus on vocab with my fifth graders this year, especially since it will help them when they have to take our standardised testing halfway through the year.
I like this video. I am actually trying a few New new things this year in order to teach vocabulary. One being word of the Day. I do this three times a week.
Hello! Am on my third year of English Language teaching and this has been helpful for my microteaching. Could you please give tips for teaching speaking and writing?
you did a good job with this video! Wow this is really amazing! You combined marketing skills and modern technology. I suspect this probably took an entire team of individuals to produce something this high quality. I would love to get more of these great videos
I didn't know you can do that much with the powerpoint software. I use to create worksheets with Pages or Word. I'll dig into Powerpoint now. Thanks, great video's! Looking forward to see more of them.
Thank you! Great video! Could you do a video on how your create your PowerPoint presentations and handouts. Specifically, how you format them and the fonts you use. Thanks for considering.
There are several components to studying . A resource I found that succeeds in merging these is the Pronto learner compendium (check it out on google) definately the most incredible treatment i've heard of. Look at all the super info .
Thank you for this amazing explation.i would like to know if the use of the mother tongue in teaching helps or blocks second language aquisition??to what extent is L1 used in L2???
Frightened can also be an adjective such as in "The frightened boy went to the dentist.". I probably should have used that as the example sentence in the video but I was coming up with in on the spot.
True! You are only human!! Just wanted to let you know, teacher to teacher! I hope I didn't offend you! You are amazing, by the way, and I appreciate all your hard work in every video you share!! Thank you!
You can adjust the speed in RUclips. Click on the gear symbol next to the CC. Then Click "playback speed." The speed of 0.75 is likely slow enough for you. It sounds very natural to me.
Wow. She speaks way too fast which could be very off putting and irritation for people and land up not watching the video where they could gain voluble knowledge. She comes across as trying to squeeze in as much info into a time limit. Very sad.
You can choose the playback speed on RUclips to slow down the video if needed! You can also pause or replay parts of the video if you need a refresher.
I love your videos! I am in college to be a teacher and your videos are so real and so helpful!
Fantastic! My school has a majority of English Language Learners, so these tips are spot on for my students!
That was a great commercial (eye roll)

Thank you so much for all your videos!! I was wondering if you teach your spelling words during vocabulary or if you have additional vocabulary words?

is this a video for sharing tips or advertorials?
This is a video for you to make a silly comment. The internet will never forget your silliness. Well done.
Good tips
"frightened" in that sentence is not an adjective! It's a verb, the complete one being "was afraid".
Thank you for this amazing explation.i would like to know if the use of the mother tongue in teaching helps or blocks second language aquisition??to what extent is L1 used in L2???
I wrote about this exact topic here. I hope it helps: theidealteacher.com/using-target-language-progress-classroom
Which printer do you use? I need to purchase one and would love to know which one you use! Thanks a bunch!
Hi I love this video and the tips! But, there's a mistake - "frightened" is a verb NOT and adjective. "Was frightened" is a helping verb
Thank you!
Meredith Komula it can be an adjective since it can describe a person used in that particular tense.
DIY Janea Thank u for clarifying. Yes, I agree with you about it being an adj too. Thank u!
Meredith Komula no problem. The English lang...can be so tricky though at times. lol
WoW, you speak fast
Super
❤
where can I get the templetes?
apologies if you said this elsewhere but what is "trasketball" getting the "TR" from?
It's a mixture of "trash" and "basketball" because you usually play with a trash can!
.... its not a jif.... Graphics, not jraphics (Graphics Interchange Format)
Careful, we may change you to a Gason!
It was mostly advertisment
Too fast and agressive. I'd prefer to read the information.
S3 Marketing
Is this supposed to help us or make us pay?! This is an commertial video :/
pretty sure it''s pronounced 'gif', but well done overall
The way you pronounce 'gif' kills me.
While the ideas are awesome, the infomercials can go! Completely obnoxious and irritating.

The creator of "gifs" confirmed that it is pronounced "jif" like the peanut butter (the way I said it in this video).
o. i don't like being wrong. ok
@@PocketfulofPrimary Both are mainstream usage at this point. Prescriptivism has no place in the 21st century.
Wow. She speaks way too fast which could be very off putting and irritation for people and land up not watching the video where they could gain voluble knowledge. She comes across as trying to squeeze in as much info into a time limit. Very sad.
