You guys!!!!! That was the sweetest shout out ever… THANK YOU!! Absolutely would love to meet y’all someday ❤️ …gotta get myself to a retreat soon!! Sorry to hear about Dave’s toe-praying for a quick recovery and adjustment period.
Hope all goes well with Dave … enjoyed your video today … loved seeing your stitching works in progress … happy stitching and until next time 😊❤ Dena Oh and thanks for sharing the updates with other designers …
What a rough week! Praying Dave's foot heals & he follows his Doctors orders (and his care givers orders) I'm sure he will find a way to be active after he is through recovery. Take care of yourself too Debbie!
Poor Dave, I pray he has a fast recovery! I was initially feeling guilty for not giving my little one the full 4th of July experience, but now I'm glad we skipped the Centerville parade this year!
Oh ladies, I’m so sorry for all Dave is and has been going through, but your positivity is very uplifting! Wishing Dave a speedy recovery and adjustment. My stepson is a bilateral above the knee amputee and with the right mindset, you can find ways of doing what you want. I’m so excited about Stitch West next spring, I had to cancel last year, so keeping my fingers crossed I make it this time!
Love you guys! I am close to you in Farr West! I was listening and was like holy moly this story sounds so familiar! My husband had a very similar experience as Dave and lost his pinky toe due to sores and infection! He is still fighting sores on the bottom of his foot, generally caused by all the walking from our Disneyland trips!! I am so sorry you guys are going through this but I love your positive attitudes!
Sending so much love your way! It’s so great to see the positive way you are taking on just finding a new way for Dave! Nothing ending - just beginning - I needed that reminder too!
Prayers for Dave and all of you 🩵🩵🩵 I am going to need you to punch me one of those Small Worlds🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩 I am the Holly the girl who had the Small World stitching case at Stitch West last year!! Meeting Jody from Satsuma was amazing. I am not going to be able to attend this year but hopefully get it in the calendar for next year 🩵🩵🩵🩵
Catching up on all the news today. You leave for a couple of weeks and the world falls apart. LOL My dad also has neuropathy in his feet. We have to keep a close eye on him. I am sure Dave will bounce right back. I LOVE the new lighthouse. I can't wait to order it.
Good luck Deb with your Dave. I have a husband who is very similar. He’s been walking and keeping track for years now too. He had to fit in a walk day of surgery, day after surgery etc, etc. for a pacemaker and 6 weeks later a shoulder redo (plates screws). I about lost MY mind. I hope he gets good news. Btw, my husband cycles all of the time too. He has many friends that have come back to cycling after many different health issues. Lots of variety of work arounds to stay cycling and outside. Sigh.
Sending healing vibes for Dave! Prayers that the doctor visit brings good news. The stitching is beautiful and congrats on the finish. Happy stitching!
Oh goodness! Praying that Dave’s healing fast and finds something to replace his daily walks if a prosthetic doesn’t allow him to walk that much everyday.
Thoughts and prayers for Dave and you Deb. I think it's a good thing for him to want to be active and not change his lifestyle. Please take us on your walk, sounds like an interesting walk. I agree that Cottage Garden lighthouse looks amazing.
What a heart felt video ladies! I love how you share your lives with us….I know you’re helping others too! So sorry Dave is going thru this and you are so patient with him Deb! Lincoln is going to be 4? How is that possible! I can remember when you were pregnant with both boys! I guess I’ve been following for a while! Lol love you both ladies! Take care!
I sure hope everything goes well with Dave! When I saw the light house I immediately thought of you! Your stitching is beautiful and I so enjoy watching you and Keph so much!
I'm so sad to hear about Dave's toe. So sorry. Yes, maybe Dave would enjoy a Peloton as an alternative exercise. I've got some hip bursitis at the moment so I workout on an elliptical while watching Flosstube episodes, but I love indoor cycling. You just never know, Dave may eventually be motivated to work out on some fitness equipment and watch all your old Flosstube videos starting with the first episode. I love watching your older episodes as much as the newer ones! I'll definitely be praying for Dave and your family. ❤️🙏
hoping David has a fast easy recovery. Check into a bike with a trainer stand. You can get a "smart" trainer stand and then a subscription for zwift and he can then ride the tour de france route and stuff during the bad weather days. and if he has friends (or makes friends) who are on zwift they can race. its pretty cool- lots of us triathletes use it during the winter especially because snow.
Hi ladies - always love your videos - thanks for sharing. Sorry for Dave - never easy - sending hugs and prayers Daves way.. even though he went through the surgery, if it helps I guess it's the way to go! Really like the stitching projects you are working on. Keph, love the nail color :-) Nice to see you are still enjoying the punch needle work - I still having an issue getting into it, especially when my arthritis acts up - rough on the hands :-) I just ordered the "Holly Jolly Santa" from the Tiny Modernist - so cute! (you mean Raggedy Ann?) (found the morgan lapstand on Amazon for about $36 - not bad!) Take care - hang in there Dave - looking forward to your next update - happy stitching 🪡
Poor Dave! My Dad lost his baby toe and that was emotional and we got used to it as did he but the big toe helps so much with balance! He will adjust but geez that’s a big bummer. Glad they got it before it progressed. God bless all of us and our feet and toes. They really are unsung heroes 🙏🏻❤️🦶🏻
Omg, Dave! Sending him healing energy! A bone infection with amputation is no joke- he needs to rest that leg and follow his doctors orders and most importantly- listen to his wife. Follow your intuition on this Deb. He needs to be careful.❤🙃
Wow crazy story you guys! I knew about Daves foot trouble for a long time 😮 Years? Maybe I was just "in the know" 😅 or maybe not. Take care Maybe Dave should crosstitch to keep him down?Idiopathic means unknown cause I think.❤
So sorry to hear about your husband. Praying he can get back to the outdoors exercise even if it means riding a bike. Glad you are getting a new location for the retreat.
I hope All goes well for Dave. I passed you in the hall at LDS hospital. I believe it was Friday night. You were headed to the elevator. I didn't want to intrude on your family time. My daughter-in-law was having kidney failure and we were there to give her a blessing. Looking forward to hopefully getting on the Stitch West list and meeting you all.
So sorry to hear about Dave's toe! I sure hope it heals up well and he will be back to his normal self soon! My missionary granddaughter was in the Centerville parade!! In fact, she is living in Farmington at the moment!! Sister Lloyd, if you see them around. She's a trainer now and has 2 other missionaries she is training! We are so excited for her as she has worked through being a service missionary to a full-time proselytizing missionary living away from home. She is thriving!! Your stitching is just fantastic, Debbie!! Always love your family stories!! Take care!! ❤❤❤
I have seen that Halloween Sal on several flosstubes. Helen D has hers started. Oh I have been waiting to here about the retreat. I am on the wait list for Oct. I hope I get an invoice.
I have the best podiatrist in the world here in salt lake he saved my feet. If you would like his name let me know he has an office by Salt lake and he has an office in west jordon

The big toe helps a lot with Balance, so he'll have to relearn how to balance, Best Wishes to Dave.

“Idiopathic” means “unknown cause”… in other words they don’t know why it happens…
